Usually, this place is pretty good. The food is really good. They’re efficient places clean but lately the customer service has left a lot to be desired. I called told the lady what I wanted and when I got there, she told me they didn’t have it anymore and I’m like seriously and she says yes someone else called after you and they bought all of the beef patties so we sold them all of them and we didn’t hold yours out. They wasted my time they wasted my trip And this is not the first time that this has happened and that’s the reason I’m leaving the review, they need to do a better job as far as customer service. it has me hesitant to come back as I can go someplace that is guaranteed to go ahead and have what I’ve ordered rather than ordering it and then when I show up, they don’t have it and all I get is I’m sorry not happy about this. Until this started happening, I used to frequent more often, but I will definitely not be back there for a while

Wow, just wow. I live in Redan and i can throw a rock anywhere and hit a Jamaican restaurant. And I've tried most of them in my area, but now I have to drive all the way to Stockbridge because the beef patties here are just perfection. I was picking up an order for someone else and the smell required me to pick up a pattie; thankfully the young man at the counter asked if I wanted the last 2. After I ate the one I was grateful to him I still had another. Pastry flaky, soft, seasoned right; mince perfect texture, exactly how spicy I like it. Top top notch. I'm sure that everything else lives up to this standard of quality and taste. I'll be back for sure.

The food is good and the staff is friendly but this restaurant NEVER EVER has Jamaican beef patties during the lunch rush. Sad but true.

I visited this place when they first opened but didn't purchase any thing, wish I had not purchased anything today, think about before going to this place. Online they said the large oxtail dinner was around $20 when got there it $27, it was about 3 oxtail a plate full of rice and cabbage and tasted 😡

I purchased a meal here today, and I am very unhappy. I got the large jerk chicken, and while flavorful the portion sizes were small. $17.00 for a large dinner but we received more rice than anything. Also, only 2 small pieces of plantains while charging $5.00 for extra portions. I hope they realize that very soon, customers may become scarce. To maintain a steady flow of customers, make sure prices reflect the size ordered. Even though the food is good, price matters to me. Please, do better. It’s nice to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. But, I am price conscious and so are my neighbors.

Some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in GA. The jerk wings and teas are 10/10. The regular jerk chicken and snapper is good. The yellow cake is good, but I don’t recommend the strawberry cake.

Update: The oxtail was tough. Could’ve been a lot more tender. And not enough gravy on the rice, especially for it to be a large that costs $30.

The rice is very dry (and a little overcooked) without the gravy.

I tried this place for the first time recently and unfortunately, I will not be going back. But to the average person, their food might be good. But to Someone like me with an experienced Jamaican food pallet, the food was very mid at best.

I wanted to try their jerk chicken egg rolls, but they didn’t have any by the time I got there . I ordered an oxtail plate and it was sweet. I prefer my oxtails to be savory. The rice tasted a little overcooked like they made it in a rice cooker. I could tell, I shouldn’t be able to tell. The plantain was literally minuscule and not cooked all the way.

The oxtails were tough. I could barely bite through three of them, which let me know that it wasn’t fully cooked.

The cabbage had some corn and mixed frozen veggies toasted and honestly, they should consider leaving that out because you had to navigate two different textures . Obviously the frozen veggies is going to be softer than the fresh cabbage so that was weird.

I don’t know overall was just underwhelming.

If I could give some constructive feedback, it would be to reconsider how long they prepare the oxtail and the plantain and a little less time on the rice. Maybe consider adding a savory flavor profile to their oxtails recipe.

My favorite Jamaican spot is 876 NYAMINZ in Marietta. I would definitely recommend them. 11/10.

Love their food, prices are reasonable, and portion size is quite good as well. Their jerk chicken is a must try. Parties are a must, add on side.

Food was excellent, especially the lunch special of jerk chicken-this was my second visit. The size of the meal was ample for the price and the temperature of the food good. The size of the facility was OK, as long as most people pickup their food. In the event all patrons sit down for lunch, there would not be adequate seating nor space. Ordering should be differentiated from pickup if there is a difference. Overall, very good food and fresh. Keep it up and don't resort to serving leftovers-patrons can tell and will stop their patronage!.
