The food was decent. It wasn't bad for the price but it could have been better.
The main thing that l didn't like was the poor customer service. The waitresses were lazy and didn't want to check on any customers. They all had bad attitudes including mgmt.
There was only one server and she was more interested in preparing a takeout order for customers behind us. We were dining in. The corn was so salty I sent it back. The roll I had was cold and drier than dust. My husband’s cornbread was like a brick with some peppers in it. The broccoli and rice dish seems like it was prepared days ago. The food was a definite disappointment today. We hadn’t eaten here in quite awhile and thought we would give it another try and it was a waste time and put a bad taste in our mouths. No more Piccadilly for us.

Food quality is not as good as it was years ago. My fried fish was very thin and hard. The building air conditioning was out but we still dine in with several fans throughout the building.

Excellent service, Excellent food, but if you aren't ready for dinner by 6pm, they're in closing mode
My resent visit to this Piccadilly location was for one of your loyal customers, Ms. Helen R. Bellamy, wife of the late basketball Hall of Famer 'Walt Bellamy'. She's recovering from a broken hip which happened 07-08-2025. She 94 years old, and live alone, by her choice, of course, but she loves to go to Piccadilly, after every doctor visits, either your fish, or beef liver. May i add that she's not going to share, lol.

Unfortunately we ordered the food & paid and just left it there and walked out. No a.c ,flies flying everywhere, servers acting like they don’t know what they doing.

I took my dad here for father's day. I told him I would take him anywhere he wanted to go ans this is where he chose. We had the steak and stiffed bell pepper broccoli salad collard greens lime beans and sweet tea. All the staff were super nice and our server was amazing

First let me say my dine in person Sandra was pleasant and helpful. So I have not been to Piccadilly in a while so I am aware that the kids meal is dine in only, so I got one for my son who is to get dropped off. But I am sitting here and he has not shown up. So the manager, Ashley walks by of course being sarcastic and say so did your son show up....well you see the plate still sitting there and she walks off but before walking off....I said yes he came by, she was like so he didn't show up in a sarcastic manner...
But had I clapped back at her confronting me about the plate, then I would have been wrong.
But with good intent he was to show up to eat with me....He didn't, bailed out on me.
So I get it, you don't want people walking out with a kids plate unless the child is present. But so what if the parent gets her child or children the Thurday $1.99 plate to go...you may not know that parent's situation, maybe they just got off work or it was easier to just bring it home.
And then I am looking at kids meal here are now almost $7.00...wow. But we are coming by the customer making unnecessary comments about me getting to $1.99 meal although I got white meat chicken dinner at 12.00 and a 3 meal vegetable plate at $8.00.
And that might be all they can afford and wanted to get their child some healthy food.
But in the mist of it the food use to be better in taste, but carrot suffle was good, broccoli/rice casserolewa okay and fried chicken and fish were fine...disappointed at the macaroni and cheese, very bland, string beans straight from the can, no red velvet cake and bread was cold.
I don't send food back.
Just my point, observation or comment on the issue but my comments may have you all stop the promotion....
And we wonder why the crowd at the restaurant is not like it use to be.....
Growing up we lived at Piccadilly every Sunday, Thursday and Friday for the fish and sometimes just to come get a slice of red velvet cake...
Signing off....
Again Sandra was awesome...seeing about the customer, she was hands down.
Didn't care for the fried fish it was hard and hardly no fish just batter and barely edible
Review: Disappointed and Frustrated
I went during lunchtime, expecting fresh food and decent service. Unfortunately, I got neither. The tenders and baked chicken were clearly not fresh; we could tell right away. We asked for fresh tenders, were told to take a number, and waited. No one ever called us back.
When we returned to place our order, the cook in the back loudly questioned why we wanted everything fresh. Yes, said out loud...as if wanting hot, fresh food during lunch is unreasonable. We were stunned.
To make matters worse, the young lady at the counter continued cleaning while we were standing right in front of her placing our order. Not a pause. Not a glance. I actually had to say, “Ma’am, do you want us to just watch you clean? We just ordered.” That’s how disconnected the service felt.
Thankfully, Ms. Delores stepped in and saved the day. Her professionalism reminded us what customer service is supposed to feel like. She was the only reason we didn’t walk out completely.
I understand young adults need jobs, but there’s no excuse for the lack of attentiveness and hospitality we experienced. Between the attitude from the cook and the nonchalant counter service, I’ll be taking a break from this location for the rest of the year.
Southlake would never.
