Stumbled upon this FINE DINING while looking for something close to the house. Walked in and the aroma of the food being cooked gave me a feeling of happiness ?. Got the dinner for 2, chicken, steak, and shrimp with fried rice. The chef was amazing. Great conversation while he cooked. He handled his business. Met a great family while dining. Husband was allergic to shellfish so he ordered a ton of sushi and all of it looked DELICIOUS!! MUST have been because he cleaned all 5 plates and said he could do it again right then. Proportions were huge!!!! Will definitely go back and take the family!!

This was horrible experience. The food was subpar and the service was worst. Our server literally asked if we were ready to go while we weee still eating holding the check like we’re going to dash and dine. Plus they added a 15% gratuity to our bill.This is as the worst dining experience I have ever had

My family & I visit UMI often , but this was by far my best experience. Jay the chef was very entertaining and the food was Perfect!!! I definitely will be back to see Mr Jay and for the great atmosphere.

I ordered the TD Roll which was pretty good I would recommend, and I also ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi I was VERY disappointed with the servings size they gave me 4 pieces of vegetables and the waiter said he would charge me for a side if I needed more. However when you get served in front of the hibachi chef you get proportional sizes of food. That really annoyed me because he recognized that I was shorted and did nothing about it. The food was decent. Drinks were not good my friend complained about her drink. The entire experience was 6/10, I was hoping I found a forever place nearby the house but I’ll try out somewhere else. FYI they don’t have any sushi specials. They charge 15% gratuity, idk take your money elsewhere.

Tonight I came in here with my 2 younger kids. We were seated at the booth by the door; in which the table was extremely sticky! Please use some other cleaner, the table felt and look terrible. Viona was our server. She was kind and polite. Food was less than mediocre. Salad was horrible and so was their miso soup or I thought it was. It had macaroni in it. Never in my life have I ever had pasta in my miso soup! It tastes like ramen noodles versus miso soup. Vibe was off. But I like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. I would have tipped our server more if they hadn't put an automatic 15% gratuity on our bill for 1 adult and 2 toddlers. Now I felt like they took it from me. So I kept it as is and just paid the bill. I wouldn't come back!
Instead of adding mandatory q8% gratuity on a. Check, maybe hire better servers that deserve and earn their tips.

Terrible.... Just ordered some Shrimp fried rice .. for a quick lunch, zero flavor it's like he throw some old rice soy sauce and 5 shrimp together and brought it, no scallions, eggs, nothing just rice, I was so hungry I just paid for it and left didn't take 3 bites! They did offer to remake but I didn't feel it would be any different
