Truly the food wasn't bad, swilled down a few beers, had the pulled pork sandwich, beans and slaw really surprised at the bad reviews.. definitely Cattlemens BBQ sauce.. and semi microbrew beers.. food was great for a state park..
This is a nice little get away when the park is busy. The food is your typical theme park food, but the atmosphere makes up for that. This restaurant has a great theme and good decoration. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a get away from the heat and a quick bite.
I miss seeing Haleakala and Mauna Kahālāwai (the west Maui mountains) every day going to work, so when I moved to ATL I was happy to know that Stone Mountain was only a short drive away, along with access to the Appalachian range of course further North. There's always a lot to do and see at Stone Mountain. I go here regularly with my clients to walk and picnic, but there are endless options to fill a day or even weekend.The museum is interesting, telling of how the mountain...
