Beautiful Coffee Shop inside the “mayors house.” Been twice, never ceases to amaze me the quality of the coffee, pastries, atmosphere, and service. Make sure yall try their Ethiopian blend with peach notes and their new Colombian blend with strawberry notes!

Just wow. Stumbled on this historic gem while waiting to check into our Airbnb and what an experience!! Janette the barista was the 💣. diggity!! She went over the history of the building which demanded thoughtful reflections. The art gallery was 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 And Never ever would I have thought ginger and honey could possibly pair with coffee but it was amaaaaazing!!!! We will be visiting each day of our stay!

This is the coolest coffee shop I have been to in a long time! I love the swings. They also have great gluten-free pastries.
I was thoroughly impressed by the attentive service and the good quality coffee.
I ordered an Iced Latte with regular sweetness, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The owner noticed the subtle change in my facial expression and immediately offered to remake the latte for me. Their efforts to ensure customer satisfaction were truly remarkable.
I recognize this as the number one coffee shop in Atlanta for both taste and service!

This place is so super cute and laidback, my daughters and I decided to have an impromptu girls day and we decided to come here for a quick drink! I’m only a few minutes up the road from them so this place may just be a favorite spot to grab a latte, read a good book or study! We’re here for the vibes 😌👌🏾

Reviews look good and the ambiance is nice. Very rustic. However, be ready to wait at least 30 minutes for your coffee, which is asinine. Almost walked out. Staff appeared really disorganized. Memorable as the most painful coffee shop experience across 4 continents, 40+ countries.

I went to Gilly Brew Bar looking for a nice coffee shop where I could get some work done, but I discovered an incredible coffee shop with baristas dedicated to making incredible coffee and other drinks. I’ve been to many coffee shops in Atlanta but Gilly Brew Bar just took the top spot in the ranking.
I ordered my usual two drinks, a cortado and an iced matcha latte. I love a cortado and always get one when a coffee shop offers it. The barista said she would bring it out to me, so I sat at one of the many tables on the first floor of the shop next to an outlet for working. The barista then brought out something I was not expecting—a wooden plate for two drinks, containing a cortado on one side and an equally sized glass of sparkling water on the other side. The cortado was delicious—very rich, thick, and somewhat acidic. But taking a sip of the sparkling water right after was a revelation—the minerality and carbonation of the water was the perfect palate cleanser, and allowed me to take another sip of the cortado as if tasting it again for the first time. I was so blown away by the combination I actually looked it up lol—apparently it’s seen in some countries in Europe and parts of Italy, along with “high end” coffee shops in North America. Well, I guess I just found my first “high end” coffee shop in Atlanta! And by the way, the matcha latte was fantastic as well, with a dark green color and a strong matcha flavor. I will absolutely be back, and I very strongly recommend Gilly Brew Bar for their incredible drinks and also as a great place to get work done.
