I did stop by Island J*** Sports Bar, but sadly all I can recall is the wait time. The spices come back to mind as flavorful, and I guess I had the shrimp, but I recall not getting plantain and that's a shame. I will say that the fault lies with me as I made an incorrect assumption that it was included. Will need to go back to see if there is something more memorable. But I guess that means it wasn't Bad, lol. Just ok.

They took 1hr 15 minutes to prepare a to go order. I tried to cancel my but the rude manager wouldn’t give me a refund. 5 people behind me got their food before me. Unacceptable

This place gets one star from me. I originally came here because of the reviews but when it was all said and done, I definitely won't be coming back to spend my money! I wanted to order the veggie plate but they didn't have that option available, so I asked the server if I can get something similar like rice n peas, cabbage with oxtail gravy and a side of plantains. When I got to the window to my surprise my total came out to be $16. I was a bit taken back because I didn't order a lot. He asked me if I wanted to change my order but he insisted that I was getting a lot of food so I agreed to pay the amount. It still didn't settle with me because after I paid it actually came out to be $17.34. I was very annoyed by this point. When he came back to the window with my food it definitely wasn't $17 dollars worth. I even asked him do you think rice n peace cabbage with gravy and plantain is really worth $17. The food wasn't that great and you can tell the gravy was taken out the fridge and warmed up because it had gravy lumps. ;(. - Unsatisfied Customer

This was the worst jamaican food I have ever tasted in my life. As a jamaican I know what jamaican food suppose to taste like and "that ain't it". It smelled funny, tasted nasty and the quality of food was sub-par. For my family of 4 it was $64.69 for a drive-thru meal. We waited 30 mins for that god awful food. My hopes were very high because I just wanted a j*** center expericence. My girls said that the food was also salty. My husband paid so I did not know how much this low quality food cost. After finding out the price, I called to see why my food was so expensive and one of the employees just hung up on me.

Found this spot by accident late after work tonight. Was surprised to see their drive through was open still, so I figured I'd give it a try. The gentleman who helped me was very nice. The j*** chicken was the most fall-off-the-bone tender and most flavorful I've had outside of the islands. The veggies were delicious and flavorful as well. I've found my new j*** spot. Will definitely be back!

I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. I also ordered Curry goat with rice, peas and cabbage. It has the right amount of spice with plenty of flavor. I'll definitely be back.
