Decided to stop by for lunch. This is my first time eating African cuisine so I had a lot of questions. The bartender was so patient answering my questions and making suggestions. I ultimately ended up with the stew which was flavorful and delicious. The plantains are TOP TIER!

One of my favorite places to eat! The food is always amazing and fresh. The customer service not always so much. And you’d think they’d be more considerate of first responders when ordering. I’m so elated the Tucker location has opened! Both spots had great food! I suggest ordering for pickup!

First time having African cuisine and it definitely won't be my last. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. Beware some of the dishes are a bit spicy. We had chicken and fish egusi soup with fufu, peppered eggs, suya heaven, jollof rice and thieb rice with lamb. Everything came out hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and nice and the wait wasn't too long considering they were busy on a Saturday night. Definitely would recommend. Get the suya heaven, you won't be disappointed!

My daughter and I dined at the Memorial Drive location on Saturday. We waited more than an hour for our server to take our order. We both asked for a juice and water. I waited almost 30 minutes for the water after asking twice. Our server was Sephora, a very delightful young lady. We both ordered the okra stew. We were informed they were out of blue crabs, but would get more shrimp. I was ok with that, no point in fussing over that. However, while waiting we asked for another spring roll appetizer and was informed there was no more left. Really? When our food came we counted only 4 shrimp. We asked Sephora is this the extra shrimp? She said yes, I was not going to argue and ask for management over shrimp, but I know good and dern well, you are not making a okra stew with on 1 or 2 shrimps at that price. We received no real accommodation for the long wait after we were seated, and out of blue crab, we should have been informed when we placed our order, so the communication is not tight, and to feel cheated with the extra shrimp made for an unpleasant experience for a first time customer. We enjoyed Sephora and she was very apologetic about the lack in our order. Will I come again, yes the food was tasty, and based on all the reviews, I'd say perhaps it was just a not so good evening. I will let them redeem themselves our next visit. We will try the location in Tucker next before we return to the Memorial Drive location.

After leaving another restaurant not deserving of my money I STUMBLED HERE AND LOVED IT!!! Instantly greeted, seated, order taken and SERVED AWESOME FOOD IN NO TIME! Great atmosphere, and the constant customers in and out spoke for itself! DID I MENTION THE EXQUISITE FOOD??? Big portions too, DEFINITELY WILL BE A REOCCURRING CUSTOMER! Chefs kiss😘😘😘

My partner and I visited Le Nouveau after fasting for Ramadan, and it was an amazing experience. We were seated quickly, and all the food came out fast, fresh, and piping hot — you could tell everything was made to order. As my first time trying African food, I was blown away, and my partner said it’s his favorite restaurant besides his mom’s cooking. The restaurant is extremely clean with a great atmosphere and music at the perfect volume. The staff was phenomenal and checked on us often to make sure everything was perfect. It’s a drive from Atlanta, but 100% worth it — we’ll definitely be back! ⭐️

I drove 30 minutes to try this place after work because I really wanted to support this restaurant. Unfortunately I ended up leaving without food. I waited nearly an hour after ordering only to be told the dish I ordered was sold out, while people who arrived after me were already eating. I understand it was a busy Saturday, but the lack of communication and service was really disappointing.
It was my first time going here and the staff wasn’t any where near hospitable. They were rude and completely unhelpful. Hopefully the food is better than the service.
