I visited on a Friday night. The music was really good! The vibes was nice. My freind ordered a drink that was great. She ordered lamb as well. It was spicy. The portion was small for the price as well. The meal came with fresh onion. Not sure if that's a custom side ?. I would definitely go back. Hope more people start to visit. They also had hookah. This definitely is the next hot spot. I will definitely go back.

I'm American & I was craving African food for 3 wks. now. I don't get out much. I was so happy to be getting this food. I ordered jolof rice & chicken. the rice looks like rice with tomato paste poured over it. the chicken was soooo dry I could not break it apart. I do not mind paying for good food. Plz don't just sale me anything.
My hairstylist Crystal suggested this restaurant and the way she went on about the spinach and rice I had to try it. Wow I was blow away with the meal. I got fufu instead of rice. My goodness I live in Kennesaw but I will be making a trip over to Stone Mountain really soon. The food was absolutely delicious.
I ordered 2 spinach special with 1 debbie the server charged me $97 plus tip I asked her a receipt but it doesn't show details it was a custom item of $97. I went there after 3 days another server checked for me on the system, I was overcharged for other 4 items. Then I asked her to give me copy of the customized receiptunfortunately she said let me talk to the manager after that she said sorry I can not give you then I requested to talk with the manager. Then I contacted the owner she doesn't care about what happened she said you supposed to ask customized receipt at that time, now I can not do anything if you want call to police or come back tomorrow the lady who served you will be here. I don't recommend to anyone they overcharge, if not please ask customized receipt.

I have ordered from here many times, usually it is pretty good. First time going inside today though. I had previously noticed that the portions of the meat have decreased. Still decided to go for it though. The service provided today by the young lady in front was absolutely poor. She has an attitude issue, no sense of urgency, and she's simply not welcoming. She's cold, not warm. She needs to be in the back if she's going to be apart of the business. People may not always be in the holiday spirit to allow nonsense to slide.

I was in Mina's on Tuesday, 12/12/2023 in the evening. Maybe that was the wrong time to come. I've been here before, but only bought her Spinach dish, which was delicious. However, of all the times, (my bother was visiting from the Virgin Islands) I thought I would try her Oxtail dinner. I had called in and was told to call back while they checked to see if they had anymore oxtails. I did. Was told they had some. Ordered 2 Oxtail meals. Waited a while, which was expected, but when the meals came out, I looked at the meal. The oxtails were in a separate bowl from the rice. It had 2 small oxtails with a bowl full of gravy. I had to ask if they were oxtails. Mina took the bowl looked and said she would give me 2 more ginger beers (I had already ordered 2 ginger beers) in place of the scarcity of the oxtail. I told her I didn't want them. She said she would take $10 off my 67.plus bill. She takes the food in the back, comes back with another plate with some kind of chicken and rice with $5. I asked her what happened to the $10, she said she gave me the chicken plate for $5, plus plantains. I was so discussed, I took the food and left. I gave my brother his plate. He said the oxtails were awful. He started coughing and asked for milk. I thought he just didn't like hot foods, but when I tasted them, they were extremely hot hot spicy hot hot. I had to get some milk as well. They scraped this from the bottom of the pan where everything was left, including the hot peppers or what ever hot spice they used. It was too much. I had a plate full of rice. My brother said he had two small oxtails as was mine. The chicken plate was tough and taste like fish. Mina, I was very disappointed. As you may know you lost a customer. I ended up throwing out $67 plus in the trash, including my $5 plate of chicken & rice.

She said 30 mins, so I waited & went there after 40 mins. I walked in. There was no greeter even though they have a greeting stand. So I walked to the bar since I saw a young lady back there. She didn't even acknowledge me & went to the kitchen. After 10 mins, 1 man who was sitting w/ a party of 4 guests came to ask me if they could order. I told him "I'm sure you can." Then I realized he thought I worked there & I had to clarify that I didn't! I had saw this party sitting when I came in so I'm assuming they weren't tended to either. Eventually some guy carrying food from the kitchen came & asked if I ordered. I told him my order & he said it wasn't ready. It had been now maybe an hr. I said I'd be back & left. When I returned, same thing. No greeting, just the guy saying it was ready. I went to the bar & paid for my food. Normally I tip but w/ how terrible their customer service is, I could not. Again 5 stars for the food, Zero stars for the service. You walk in there & the staff legit behaves like chickens w/ their head cut off.
