I made a reservation for 6:45. We arrived on time, and were told we would have to wait 20 minutes for our server. We ended up waiting 45 minutes, which is more than twice as long as what we were told. Out of the group, I was one of the last people to get any food, and was left with 4 minutes to eat. I had to take all my food to go as we had other plans for the evening

Favorite Japanese in Lilburn. Beautiful decor. Hot hibachi- cold sushi- 🍣 best Japanese restaurant in town.

Went in a Sunday by myself and just sat in the restaurant without the show. Sushi was great and so was the filet & scallops. One of the best ginger salads I have had at a Japanese steakhouse.

The chef was entertaining and The food was delicious. I had a veggie plate and veggie tempura. The lemonade was just right, not too sweet.

We gave up on this restaurant a year or so ago when the hibachi filet was definitely NOT a filet. An urge for a hibachi meal nearby brought us back to see if there were improvements. The fried rice there was always excellent!
It was a Monday night so there were only 2 less than full tables in action. We were placed at a table by ourselves. Our hostess was very nice and I told her why we hadn't been coming and hoped for our experience to be better. She informed us that new management took over the end of 2023. Juan was our chef, a longtime employee at Nagano. He was friendly, professional and obviously likes his job. Our steaks were definitely the filet and he cooked them exactly as we ordered. Everything else was perfect as though it were a Saturday night with full tables throughout!

The chef took care of us because our waiter wasn't. We waited for over an hour for our drinks, and the chef had to get our soup and salad. We got our appetizers that we ordered after the meal. We sent them back and had to tell the manager to take it off of our bill because we ordered them as an appetizer, not dessert. I'm still rating the place at 5 stars because everything else was amazing. If we had not eaten here before and had an amazing experience, then we would not come back. It was the waiter that made it not a great experience.

Excellent hibachi dinner prepared and served by the hibachi grill masters. My kids enjoyed seeing their food cooked for them. My fillet was perfect and will be returning to Nagano for a delicious dinner soon.
