Stone Mountain Skates

We drove 30 minutes to skate here and realized we were missing a toe stop upon arrival. We figured we could pick a pair up from the skate shop once we got inside. I was advised they do not sell toe stops there, only plugs. Despite seeing a 1ftx1ft deep container of random toe stops behind the counter, the employee would not let us purchase or borrower one for our skating time, turning her back and walking off. Seemed ridiculous to pay $25 to skate and they would not help us at all. Won't go back.

I came here because we passed by , and my kids wanted to skate !! My skates that were given to me hurt my feet and I decided I didn’t wanna torture my feet that way !! I let my kids skate and I didn’t !! They didn’t wanna give me a refund but told me not ask but told me I can give store credit I’m like what !!!!!! My last visit !!!!

I have been here several times ,started back when it was Americana Skates..Now Stone mtn skates ,Yes they get a big enough crowd to keep this place nice But it could use some updating, Heavy security, more than enough armed police which make it a little uncomfortable because they pat you down physically..Cops stopped me to look inside the car as I entered the parking lot with Myself & 2- 14yr old girl's, then asked was I staying or dropping off,didn't understand that, then when I got in the line I had to scan a barcode to fill out a waiver that asked everything except my social, had to download my drivers license pic too,BUT the week prior I just had to pay No waiver!!The bathrooms were OK but could use a upgrade,Didn't like the sexual energy on the skating floor either with couples, I think that should not be allowed in front of young kids!! THEN it was 15 each if I dropped them off but 5 if I went in with them,but anyway it's always safe inside,no fights,no smoke,Good music & door people are always nice!!

It was my son 14 birthday party the staff was the best it been in 12 years

The children had a fantastic time skating and building their confidence. The bathroom was clean and staff were professional and eager to assist!

Kids love it. I'm not a skater, but the upgrades to menu and added bar is great if that's your thing.

Super Fun and is family friendly. My family, friends and I always have a good time there. I’ve been to two birthday parties at Stone Mountain Skates and both times were very enjoyable and they took care of pretty much everything. I would definitely suggest going their if your looking for a good family friendly skating rink but make sure you check the calendar because they also have 18+ nights.

It was absolutely terrible, there was a camp that was/were doing races and playing tag. It was all filled with kids so it was pretty much ran by kids, I’m not very good at skating but I felt like I couldn’t even get on the rink without being smothered by kids. The cost was outrageous, $30 dollars to get in and if you wanted a small rail thingy to help you with skating it’d be an extra $5 for an hour or $10 for two hours. The bathrooms were atrocious, the wall paint/texture was peeling and half of the bathroom stall doors were broken and the sinks were in a whole different room. If we had known how many kids would’ve been there, then we probably wouldn’t have gone. Total bummer and I definitely don’t recommend this place unless you want to get trampled by kids half your size.
