I used to enjoy this subway until my last visit. I noticed gnats flying around the food and they did nothing to address it. Continued to prepare food smh

I came here because the library closed early and I had to finish a few work emails first and foremost. I can tell that they were trying to push me out of the restaurant as they began mopping as if they were closing when they don’t close until 10 and it’s 730. They specifically did that purposely because I was sitting there but I let that slide. I felt bad for not buying anything so I said well let me get a cup of ice cause I already had eaten before I got there and had something to drink, charge three dollars for a large cup of ice I said for a cup of ice he says yes same price. I don’t wanna say it’s racism. I don’t know what these peoples problem is, but I just don’t like that location in general. I don’t feel like the food is ever that great. I feel like they put the bare minimum and I wouldn’t have went in if I didn’t need to send off a work email I won’t be spending my money here.

The service at this location was the worst that I have ever experienced. It didn't start out too bad. We ordered several sandwiches and the one employee (man) seemed to be trying to keep up but he had to keep looking at some sort of cheat sheet to determine what meat to put on them. We would tell him what cheese to put on them but he kept asking over and over again until we got the cheese we wanted. The real problems began when we tried to pay for the sandwiches. The second employee (lady) started ringing up the order but when we put our card in the machine the first employee (man) kept telling us that we had to be a tip in. We told them we did not want to put a tip in at which time the lady did something to the register and told us that it did not go through and insisted that we swipe our card again. We swipe it again and looked at the display on our side which said accepted but the lady kept pushing buttons on the register and the man kept telling us to put a tip in. The lady then said that it didn't go through again but we were telling her that it did. We even pulled up our bank account up and showed her that both swipes went through but she insisted that we swipe the card again. We refused to do that knowing that the display told us that the charge went through and our bank account was showing that both charges were pending. We decided to leave the food and walk away before the incident got worse. We were also hoping that the charges would drop off since the lady told us that they did not go through. Today we found out that both charges did go through and now we are out $97.70 and we did not even get our food. Both the employees were very rude and I feel that they purposely stole our money. While dealing with the situation I observed 3 customers walk away because the two employees were so busy stealing our money they ignored the other customers.

I ordered through them with Uber eats. The drink was totally flat which is nasty and the sandwich wasn’t good at all. Good thing Uber eats refunded my money back. Definitely will not order from here again.

Nasty behind the counter it’s always dirty. Food does not look fresh. Bugs flying everywhere. Staff doesn’t change their gloves after touching non food surfaces. Just overall dirty and I advise no one to eat here

What If

Forcing consumers to pay tips even when purchasing a $2.50 bottle of water. They actually tell you to press a tip amount, guide your hand- and then direct you to cash out.Flies in the food and Piles dirt & trash on the floor.Why??? don't they cover the food instead of standing there a waiving flies ????
