We ended up here after our Stone Mountain trek with very less expectations. But it turned out to be pretty good.
We had:
1. Angus Burger
2. Shrimp bowl
3. Sweet potatoes fries
4. Key lime cake slice
5. Tomato Basil soup
6. Pulled pork Burger
Everything was fresh and delicious.
Our server was really nice. He made sure to bring food on time and gave good recommendations.

We chose this place because of the location (we drove an hour to meet old friends who were in Stone Mountain for a wedding. We were so pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the unhurried atmosphere. This is not a fast food restaurant! Food is prepared fresh and we were all pleased with the quality. Since the primary purpose was to visit with our friends we were happy with the no rush attitude of the very warm and friendly staff. Many of the customers seemed to also have the same friendly, sit and visit approach to their Saturday lunch.
I had the turkey burger- it was perfectly seasoned and moist. I'm just sorry I don't live close to this restaurant- I would definitely make it a regular spot for a leisurely meal!

I would not recommend this place if you’re traveling with dogs. My family came from out of town to eat and explore the area. We traveled with two dogs, so we expected to sit on the patio. The hostess set the tone with visible frustration because she said there weren’t enough servers and they don’t open the patio until 1 (This is not indicated anywhere). She shook her head and sighed at our request, making us feel uncomfortable. She did not offer any kindness, respect, or appropriate customer service.
Great food quick service and decent prices

My organization recently used Sweet Potato Cafe to cater our event. From the onset, Chef Karen was helpful in crafting a menu for our needs. On the day of the event, the team went above and beyond making sure that the delivery experience went well. The food was excellent and so satisfying. Highly recommend for upcoming catering opportunities.
We specifically chose this establishment in an effort to avoid chains and have a more local experience. It did not disappoint. Knowing that it is a smaller establishment, we did not expect our larger group of 10 to be seated together. We were surprised that after a brief wait, they had arranged tables to accommodate us. Our server was excellent and handled our group, especially the kids, like a pro! Shortly after our arrival they closed seating and announced to newcomers that the kitchen was open to to-go orders only. That made us even more appreciative that they accommodated us. Our group included a vegetarian and several very picky (young children) eaters. We were thrilled that there was something on the menu for everyone. And everyone enjoyed their choices. The kids especially loved the pasta and chicken tenders and the Angus burger was a big hit among the adults. As expected, anything involving sweet potatoes was excellent. I absolutely want to go back to try their fried green tomatoes & crispy sweet potatoes.

Holy moly!! This place is good!! We started with key lime cake and topped it off with bbq pork with sweet potato salad, and a loaded sweet potato with shrimp.

I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The space is not accommodating for large parties — our seating arrangement had to be changed multiple times, which set the tone for the visit. The food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the only item worth mentioning was the flounder fried fish. Everything else on the plate was bland and lacked flavor. The mimosas were also not enjoyable. While the café itself has a nice atmosphere, the service, drinks, and most of the food did not meet expectations. Sadly, I will not be returning.

I went with a friend. We weren't able to try the food because we wanted brunch and they only do brunch on Sundays until 2:45pm. We were there on a Saturday and they stop breakfast at 11:45am the reason why I'm still giving them five stars was the service. They took the time to explain their hours and their grab and go breakfast during the week. My friend had ordered a sweet tea that he was going to pay and they offered on the house. They serve lemon infused water which was very refreshing, I will visit as soon as I can to try the food. There options look great.

We arrived 10 minutes after they opened for breakfast and were seated promptly. They took our food and drink order at the same time time. The music was very loud and acoustics were bad, so it was a little difficult to have a conversation.
We did not receive our drinks (coffee and water) for 45 minutes. Looking around, this was the case for most of the other tables as well.
Our food arrived after 1 hour and 10 minutes. It was good! The chicken and waffles was delicious. The cheesy grits were wonderful. The sweet potato biscuit was fun, but dense for my liking.
We presented a coupon when it was time to pay, and they would not accept it, despite the coupon fine print not having any restrictions. Not a huge deal, because we’ve been wanting to come anyway, but it certainly didn’t help the experience.
One odd thing - the entire time during our meal, when people came in the door looking for a table, the wait staff was strangely rude to them. They’d tell them that they were full and there was a 45 minute wait, but it genuinely sounded that the wait staff was annoyed that people were coming to the restaurant. I would have not come back had I been any of those customers who came in.
Decent food, but the rest of the experience overrode that. Unfortunately this will be a one time trip for us.

Cute café. Good food. A little pricey. Server didn't listen to me and didn't bring me what I ordered. I chose to eat it anyways. It was good, by not what I had come there for. She didn't refill water. Frustrating experience overall.

I made a reservation for 2pm. Showed up at 210pm and was turned away. I've eaten here once and it was such a pleasant experience not every time I've gone back or told one of my friends to go its been such a horrible time. And not being able to explore the quisine. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore ever again.
