I selected the brunch combo. I had grits, lions mane fish, and pancakes. It was all made fresh and the service was great.

Food was not what I expected. A large bowl is very small for $24.99. I ordered the lions mane bowl and the hibachi bowl with oyster mushrooms. To start with the lions mane, it had no flavor, texture was chewy like fat and underneath was a bed of quinoa with chopped zucchini and small bits of kale which seemed very oily and no flavor. As for the fried oyster mushroom, it was good all by itself with the homemade teriyaki sauce. Underneath the oyster mushroom was a bed of the same quinoa, kale, zucchini mix. The only flavors came from the oyster mushroom and the sauce. This was my first and last visit unfortunately.

The food was BANGING!! I had the hibachi bowl and ate the entire thing! I got the gumbo to go but had a few bites before I left…whew! You wouldn’t even know it was vegan.

Me and my business partner went to check out Vegan Time Cafe. The food was fresh and delicious. The establishment was clean and cool atmosphere. The cashier/order taker was so pleasant and she gave us a thorough explanation of the menu items. We also met the owner. He was very polite and served us personally. I had the Jerk bowl and a smoothie. 10 out of 10! Will definitely eat there again. Great experience!
