Staff was not friendly or helpful at all. We made a reservation several days in advance as this was our anniversary but when we arrived we were told it would be an hour. When i questioned this because of our reservation the lady just said they had served a big group so the kitchen was way behind. No apology or concern at all. We were very unhappy and will not be back.

YEARS ago, maybe 9-10 years ago when Waterside offered a buffet, it was excellent and worth every penny spent with MANY people dining there. Now they have a boring, limited menu that you must order from. Shame on whomever decided on and made that terrible decision. Years ago Waterside had a variety of choices of meat, vegetables, salad bar, bread, and desserts in an upscale "all-you-can-eat" quality buffet format with varying menus for anyone to dine on weekends... Perhaps during the week as well, but my choice was weekends. I'm never going again. It used to be my favorite place.

Over price and not many choices, the handheld sandwiches is the same as the tavern. After ordering we waited for over 27min for 2 burgers. Went to ask how much longer til the food will be out, and was told the food will be ready in another 20min. It could also use better cleaning. Not impressed. Didn't wait any longer and left. Grabbed food off site and you'll see alot of other people doing it too

Very expensive buffet with limited choices of food. Salad bar is very skimpy. Very slow service. Only two choices for dessert bar. Highly dissatisfied.

Currently staying at this hotel as I type this. The breakfast is not worth the money. We ordered omelettes and they turned out burnt. The grits were lumpy, the eggs taste like powder. On top of that they automatically charge 20% service fee. The servers seem disconnected also.

Way overpriced for the quality of food. Powdered eggs and chicken sausage. What the hell is chicken sausage.

I ordered the salmon and rice and it was decent. But my girlfriend ordered roasted chicken and rice and the chicken was hard as a rock and overcooked and asparagus undercooked. Our daughter ordered a turkey sandwich which was wrong when sent to her. The waitress absolutely took too long between orders and seemed to forget us. I ordered wings to go and was told they ran out after I ask where they were. I will not eat here again and overspend $85 of not so good food.

Friday buffet was a limited selection of mediocre food. Decent salad bar, but main dishes were just wings, ribs, sliders, green beans, and rolls. $29 plus 20% service charge is too much to pay for this. Staff was very cordial and attentive. Setting is beautiful. The best thing about this restaurant is that the only other option is to leave Stone Mountain Park to find a place to eat.

Mother’s Day Brunch. The food was old picked over and not replenished. No lamb chops as listed but pork tenderloin which looked terrible. Just awful. We left without tasting a morsel of food. For $79 a plate they should be ashamed.

Took the wife for a Mother's Day Brunch. First off, all the food was either cold or over cooked and dry. Very, very disappointed by the value and what exactly was offered as a Mothers Day Brunch. For $79 Person the wife got a rose. Not a value. I wish there was a way to give -stars to the food. Update: total came to 248.00 including charging 20% gratuity to the bill. And had to chase down the wait staff. Unacceptable. Will not be back

While I've been to this restaurant many years ago, this experience was beyond disappointing and far from what i recall. The value of the experience was over priced. The food selections for the buffet were minimal and the food quality was subpar. The best part of the outing was the customer service. The hostess and waitress were extremely kind and attentive. Unfortunately, not enough kindness could lure me back. As I was leaving I learned the property is no longer owned by Marriott which explains alot.

The service was perfect. The food was very good. There a couple of dishes advertised on the online menu that we didn't have— Cajun shrimp and a catfish dish. What we had was pricey, but really good for a special occasion.
