The food is decent, but the service is lacking. There were hardly any other tables and we had to ask for basically everything including silverware. It looks like it used to be a really nice place but it's definitely lack luster now.

Overpriced and slow service, even for a captive patron. Slow service and unwarranted automatic “service fee” added to an inflated bill. We have 6 season memberships to the park, which we highly value, but the cost and service of this “resort” was well below expectations!

Ive heard wonderful things about their parties and catering and events, but individual dining experience is not where they excell.

Worse food I have ever had for the price. I could’ve gone to a sizzler buffet and got more taste for food. I travel all across the United States and to pay $75 for a Christmas buffet of food that was tasteless and scarce selection, and desserts that were store-bought was ridiculous. Then on top of it, I was charged a $30 service charge for a woman who just brought me tea. The desserts tasted like they were Marie Calendars out of a box. Most disappointing Christmas buffet I’ve ever had. If the price had been $19.99 would expect the type of food we have but to value it $75 a person you expect an incredible selection in season and delicious food. There was no salad bar. There were sliced tomatoes and blueberries and cantaloupe, the dressing was dry in flavorous the carrots were over roasted it was just a disaster.

The food was really tasty. We went on Christmas with my family and I was surprised how much I enjoyed everything. My mom loved it so much she wanted me to write this review for her lol. Our server Suada was really sweet and personable too.

For $75 it was pitiful. I've been to a $70 buffet before and it blew this one out of a water. This was nothing more than a low budget hotel continental breakfast with various meats and desserts that had been laying out since opening probably. A huge ripoff and they should be ashamed of themselves. I feel bad for families that were probably splurging for the holidays just to end up with this disappointment. I'd never come back even if it was free. Lower the price or raise the quality. Just greedy.

This was the worse meal I have had in decades. We travel quite a bit and to pay $75.00 for a Christmas buffet that didn't even compare to Golden Corral Buffet. The food was tasteless, the vegies overcooked, no salad bar, and the dressing was so dry it stick to a wall. For a $75.00 meal I expect a wide variety which there wasn't, home made items which all the desserts tasted like came from the box at the grocery store. It has mostly breakfast items which was a disappointment for a 1:15 lunch time. The bread display was like Sam's muffins and cinnamon rolls. No dinner type rolls at all. The only thing that was half way descent was the beef but still not much flavor. The turkey was dry and if I could I would get a full refund. Here are the items I could recommend from that $75.00 dinner - ice tea and the mash potatoes. Then they charged you a $30.00 service charge for someone who brought tea. We are big tippers but now when we are told how much for little service. It could be done as a wonderful buffet with high quality food with a wonderful view. But instead they choose to make it barely palatable. Again, we travel monthly though the US and have had some bad meals but this was the worst I have had in decades for the cost.

We visited for a family Christmas Brunch Buffet. Though the variety wasn't vast, everything was delicious and well prepared. Homemade mashed potatoes. Delicious cornbread dressing. Excellent cinnamon carrots. Made to order omelets and waffles. Excellent salmon and curry chicken. Crisp delicious green beans. Nice charcuterie area. Carved ham, turkey and beef tenderloin. Just really good food. It wasn't crowded so i wondered if we stumbled on a hidden gem. Dress is business casual and the view was spectacular. We did have to pay to park in Stone Mountain but it was similar to valet parking fees elsewhere. We will return.

Food was terrible. Service was absent. Had to get up and walk into the kitchen twice to get our drinks refilled. We were literally the only table in the restaurant. Worst part is a 20% tip was included. Our server got a $30 tip. A $1 tip would've been very generous.

We were one of two tables during dinner, that tells a lot right there! The service and food were unacceptable and did not meet reasonable standards. The food quality was poor and the service was extremely slow and inattentive. Despite this, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Based on the level of service received, this gratuity was not earned and should not have been imposed.

At no point were we informed in advance that an automatic gratuity would be added, nor was there any effort by staff or management to address our concerns during or after the meal.

Will never be back and highly advise you to stay far away. Has only 2 stars for a reason! This entire hotel needs new management. What a waste of a nice looking place that has a good location.

Service was very good. Wait time on cooking an omlet was too long. Eggs on buffet were only warm. Took a long time to get a waffle- there were two waffle makers but for some reason the cook would only use one of them. The restaurant was not busy at all. Apparently, they were short staffed.

This may be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We came for what was advertised as a Thanksgiving buffet. The only Thanksgiving food they had was turkey and dressing. Otherwise, it was a cold, tasteless, over salted breakfast buffet - basically equivalent to the free breakfast at a midrange hotel. We paid $75 a piece for one of the worst meals I have ever had. We saw multiple families refusing to pay because they hated the food so much. It was so bad that on the way out we told two families not to go in. Our server even admitted that the food was horrible. I wish I could give less than one star. Do not waste your money.

My family and I were traveling from out of town. We made reservations at the Waterside Restaurant for the Thanksgiving buffet on Thanksgiving Day. We paid $291 for three adults. The wait staff was very helpful and professional, and the restaurant had a nice lakeside view. However, the food was below par for the price. The turkey was not flavorful. Neither was the chicken or the fish. The stuffing and the gravy were very salty, the beef was very rare, and the cranberry sauce looked like it came from a can. The macaroni and cheese was bland and squishy. The roasted vegetables weren't bad but weren't particularly good either. The hot apple cider was gone by the time we got there and wasn't replaced. Only the green beans, bacon, and pecan pie were really good and what we expected in quality. We spent too much money for too little variety and too poor quality in food overall. Honestly, we would have done better if we had gone to Golden Corral. I'm sorry, but we won't be returning to the Waterside.

The food temperature was not good, warm or room temperature. Breakfast food was a surprise for Thanksgiving and don't understand why it was offered. Expected more Thanksgiving food options for the high price.

The turkey and dressing was excellent. The prime rib resulted in a blockage which is having surgery. The veg and potatoes ( possibly the prime rib) was overdone
