Been trying to find good Jamaican food on this side of town. This one is not it and I won’t be returning. I ordered an oxtail dinner and was disappointed. The menu said $21 I was charged $25 and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Oxtails were cut too big for my taste. What they advertised appeared to be cut thin and these were bigger pieces. I had four in total and a couple were mainly bones. There was barely any gravy on them and I asked for oxtail gravy over the rice of course. It looked covered enough, however, the rice & peas were still dry AF! The rice itself was just as mushy as the beans (over cooked) and it had this weird seasoning taste to it I’m not used to and it was loud and horrible in my mouth. I had a few spoons of that and stopped eating it. The cabbage had the same seasoning taste to it and at the same time it was bland and overcooked as well! I won’t be returning… Not worth the money!

I ordered the stew chicken unfortunately it was way more bones than meat and there was no macaroni and cheese prepared. Additionally I was charged more than advertised for the lunch specials. The customer service was very pleasant ☺️

The Food was so disgusting .I order from Uber Eats n I was so hungry but I couldn’t eat anything from the order . The rice was awful! Plantain was green . Red peas soup taste like dirty water. The only thing I could consume was the D&G drink . The fried chicken was so horrible. Everything was awful. Like what in the world. Please throw the chef away. My $50 went down the trash.

I just did door dash and how hard is it for the restaurant to take your time and fulfill order. I asked for plantains and not on my plate. Everything is warmed up do how can you not pay attention. My first and last.

The jerk chicken is fire......but $6 upcharge for some box mac & cheese is CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a small oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage, and cocoa bread. Unfortunately, they were out of mac and cheese. I don’t usually go for oxtail, but it was actually really good. I think I’ll come back to try the jerk chicken next time. The rice and peas were the best I’ve had in the area, but the cabbage needed a little more seasoning—so I added some Cajun seasoning and hot sauce, and it hit the spot. The cocoa bread was soft and fluffy. Most importantly, the service was top-notch—I was welcomed with warm and enthusiastic energy.

I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK !!! All I got was bones and the rice was hard and old .I called before I drove 30 mins to get there . The lady that fixed it knew she was wrong . It was a waste of money and time BUT NEVER AGAIN .. It was sooo COLD inside of the place , it’s 37 outside and colder inside of the place than outside

I ordered the stew chicken BOGO with doordash, they won't allow you to request extra gravy unless you call the store and yes they are stingy with the chicken 1 piece for $16 plate mostly rice and peas that was the disappointmenting part. Flavor was good.

Last night 01/04/2025 was my 1st time at this restaurant. I would rate it as average. I ordered brown stew chicken large it was just ok. The portion of chicken was small. I must say the Rasta pasta was very delicious. I ordered it as a side , but they placed it on top of the rice and it was a very smalll portion. I feel that it should have been place in a small container. Also, there was an argument with one of the customers. He was upset that he was charged $1.00 for extra gravy. She went back and forth with the customer. Just give him the extra gravy… that way you have a repeat customer. If I do return it would only be for the Rasta pasta.

Ordered brown stew chicken I had no flavor, the rice was mushy and the cabbage was little to none. I think if they would a scotch bonnet to it will give it a kick in flavor and add too.

THREE OUT OF FIVE IS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE PORTIONS OF OXTAILS. FOR $31 IS PRETTY STEEP TO BE SKIMPY ON THE MAIN COURSE. OTHER THAN THAT I LOVED IT. THE WOMAN WHO SERVED ME WAS VERY POLITE AND PLEASANT. FOR THAT I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 10 STARS. SHE LET ME TRY THE PASTA, WHICH WAS AMAZING. I MAY NEVER GET THE OXTAILS AGAIN BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND THE JAMAICAN PASTA WITH THE SHRIMP.

Front young lady was rude she was on the phone waited till she got off. Asked for hot sauce because it was gone I said did she have more hot sauce because their clearly BEHIND ME she said no after spending $30 n couldn’t give it to me rude & I usually eat here sometimes prob won’t be back because simple customer service

This place has some amazing food. I order the Rasta pasta comb with oxtails and shrimp and a side of plantains. I almost bit my lip trying to eat. I always get extra gravey just because I like my food wet. But baby let me tell you I didnt need it the pasta was already wet. The extra gravey just made it extra good. The plantains was cooked just the way I like them. They were sweet and fried just right. And the portion size was enough for 2 or 3. I've been licking my fingers since I stopped eating. Well worth the money. My hat off to the cheif. I will be back!

Oxtail was burnt! I can't believe she would sell me burnt Oxtail. I got home and it was smelling and tasted burnt
