BLACK OWNED BUSINESS: One of the best shopping experiences which yielded me such hospitality & cultural insight. Yedera is a family-owned Ethiopian "convenience" store that sells staples like chips, candy, specialty drinks, lottery tickets, over-the-counter remedies, jewelry, household items - laundry detergent, grooming essentials & more. Consumable inventory includes fresh food like Sambusas, Meats, Injera (Flatbread) & specialty drinks. The variation of items goes beyond any one product. Fresh brewed Ethiopian coffees & teas are available at the Coffee Counter. There's a big selection of coffee pots, kettles, tea sets, incense & incense holders. You will be immersed by the regular & signature spices throughout the market. The second-generation employee extended me welcoming vibes while giving me a friendly tutorial about Ethiopia while I walked each aisle. The generous prices forced me to pick up a few holiday gifts & with a return to purchase myself an Ethiopian Handmade Tea Set.
