Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

Years ago this location was one of the best amongst the franchise. My food was always hot and fresh, and tasted amazing. This time I gave them a try after not eating here in years, and I’m disappointed. The jerk chicken is dried up meat, with bones and no jerk seasoning. The rice n peas completely lacked , I mean no seasoning on them at all! The plantains of course were good , and the Mac was even good. I’m disappointed in that chicken and rice though!

This location Stonecrest is the worst I’ve ever been too. They are rude and lack customer service. Not friendly at all. I will not be going back to that location.

The food is good. But they CONSTANTLY run out of spinach patties. They need to make more because they sell off quick. The Service however can be horrible and is very slow!! It’s like there’s no urgency towards customers…you get served when you get served. Not mention my veggie patty taste spoiled!!! Do better Golden Kristen Stonecrest!

Food wasnt season. Gravy for stew chicken was watered down. I spent 13.90. I hate wasting money on BS. This place is a hit or miss.

As always Golden Krust did it again. The curry goat with rice and beans, plantains and cabbage is on point. I wanted the oxtails but it was out of my price range. They give you so much for the money and the quality and taste is unmatched. If you’re ever in the Stonecrest area, please stop in and truly get a taste of Caribbean cuisine. you will not regret it. You can even sit in carry out or have it delivered whatever suits your preference just come on in and get your some.

The only thing I didn’t like is that if you order an extra side of say curry goat they want $14 for a little container whereas the meal large is $17.89. You would come out better getting the meal again which I didn’t want to get a side of oxtails in a container is between $18-$20 . I think they need to come down in those prices for just having a side of meat to add to your meal. Outside of that everything else was excellent.

You won't know if they're out of a menu item until you get there or call. The patties they sell now have less filling and they go heavy on the gravy. Only go here once every 2 months due to prices.

They put some respek on the plate with the meat portions. Ive only been there once so i cant say they do it for all especially oxtail but Was good for me

The flavor in the food was correct however the curry chicken that I receive was all the bone end section of the chicken thigh meat.,. For a large plate I would have expected at least a full leg quarter and a drumstick... Food cost I'll probably dictating this it does taste good I'll be back nonetheless.

This is the worst Golden Krust on the east side. The food is horrible (taste and appearance). They must do better. The location in Conyers is way better. Don’t waste your time. Pass them by

A few years back I enjoyed coming to this location for good jamaican food. Over the years the taste of the food specifically the jerk chicken was lacking so much in flavor so I stop coming to stonecrest. I finally decided to give them a try again after a few years and was disappointed again. I ordered a large soup. It had just a few vegetables and 2 small dumplings with 1 piece of chicken and the flavor was just ok nothing to go crazy about. I refuse to come back to the stonecrest location where I can't get quality food for the prices they're listing. I will continue going to the Conyers location where the Jerk Chicken and Soup is delicious, their prices are lower, the portion size is great and the customer service is great as well.
