Delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly employees. I’ll be back.
If I could give zero as far as ratings go, trust and believe, I would!!!! The young lady at the counter made me wait with her head on the counter for 5 minutes before taking my order... get attitude and appearance should've been caution enough for me not to even try!!! She and the guy in back laughing and joking about not having the food i wanted.. proceeded to stay in the kitchen chatting....I walked out and went next door...... it's a shame you can't support your own... They were empty for a while, while the place next door was booming...smh!!!

I DON'T normally give small businesses bad reviews. This Place Was Terrible when I went.
I should have turned around when the big cute cashier didn't respond to customer saying hello. I looked at the menu, placed my order, and she boxed it up. I saw the quality of the plantains in the display and I should have stopped the order. The chicken patty was ok but I wouldn't recommend it.
I paid with cash and when she tried to deny cash payment saying people pay with card. She said "i can try it" and it was that that I should have walked away, again. She counted out the change and it was short $2. I explained that it was short and she told me that items had tax and we not exactly the price on the menu. I explained that the receipt included tax and showed her that it was itemized. After a long pause she went in the drawer and gave me the rest of the change that was due according to the receipt. I ordered a large curry goat, peas and rice, cabbage, plantains, a chicken patty and a pineapple soft drink.
I got home and the "goat" meat was very chewy, the cabbage was a wilted grey, and the peas and rice were sugary. I tried to eat it because I paid almost 30 bucks for this old food. I only stopped there at this place because of the high number on the Google reviews and I was in the area. It was half hour away so I didn't go back to complain. I don't want an offer to make it right I only want you to know that you should NOT EAT THERE!!! This

Drove all the way here and the black older woman at the register said they don't have any jerk 🙄 😒. I'm soo done with all these ppl wanting a business but can't supply its specialty. A Jamaican restaurant with no Jerk .lmaoo. Gotta do better America
CAUTION!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
If you care enough about your health, think twice about ordering anything from this establishment. I’m a foodie, so I love almost anything I eat, I also never leave reviews but this place needs to be exposed!
My husband, and I ordered two plates to go, I had the oxtails, and he ordered the jerk chicken. Unfortunately, we loss our appetites after trying to enjoy our entrees.
We could not help but notice the sour smell of cabbage, it was as if this cabbage was cooked yesterday and left out overnight , then reheated. The oxtails were hard to chew and almost burnt, the chicken was hard and stale, not to mention the gravy was nothing but dark oil. We started to dig in, but immediately stopped eating after we realized we were eating old food. We both feel disgusted.
This company had the audacity to charge us $20 for each plate .
Eat right café, just a couple miles up the street SAVED THE DAY!!!! we both ordered the oxtails with rice and peas and we’re very pleased. We should’ve come here in the first place.! POV: You can’t just treat/serve people any kind of way, and get away with it.
S&S Jamaican cuisine is a health hazard , just trying to warn y’all!

I must agree with the reviews the food was not seasoned and the chicken was old and taste burnt. I’m glad it was me and not my husband who is from Trinidad or the review would be worse
They have roaches

Ordered through door dash. I had the brown stew snapper, rice and peas, a little cabbage and carrots. The rice was very soggy, the snapper wasn't seasoned. The whole meal wasn't good! I tried to eat it but couldn't. This is not Jamaican! I would not order again from this restaurant. $30 wasted!

Beef patty was burned, old, and barely had any beef in it I’m not going to even try to eat that. Couldn’t taste any salt fish with the ackee, and the callaloo taste like metal,

My first 2 visits were good the food was good. The third visit was underwhelming. I ordered the stew chicken. The chicken was burnt and overcooked. It was like eating gravy covered shredded wood chips. I hope they get it together.

THE WORST SO CALL RESTAURANT IN THE ENTIRE GEORGIA. THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO LEARN HOW TO COOK. PLACE IS VERY DISGUSTING, DONT MENTION THE STALE AND EXPIRED FOOD THAT THEY COOKED. WILL NEVER EAT THERE OR ADVISED ANYONE TO GO THERE.
I was searching for a jamaican spot to grab lunch and I stumbled upon this restaurant. I don’t really have much to say but it was sub par compared to other jamaican restaurants I have visited. My Cabbage had no taste, plenty of rice but very small protein and besides the gravy was so inadequate. I couldn’t believe they won’t give enough gravy for the amount of protein served. I asked for a small togo cup for my water which I had in my car but I was charged an extra $2. Also I was over charged overall. The food was subpar. Not sure if I will be returning. A little focus on service rather than profit, A little consideration, accommodation and less over charge will help this business grow. They can certainly achieve my 5 star if all those little things are corrected
