I’m very disappointed by our experience at Home Spun. We had high hopes because the last time we came back in June, we had a very sweet young lady as our server and the food was pretty good. We did not have the same experience this time around.

My family and I came in the other day and took forever to be greeted once we sat down. Our server, Rhonda, seemed to be in a bad mood and was rushing us right from the get-go. The food took a while to come out despite us being one of the only people in there. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed by the food this time around (which took forever to come out), but it wasn’t the worst.

The worst part was the obvious drama within the restaurant. We were very put off by Rhonda fighting with one of the other servers and found it very unprofessional. When we got our check, we were overcharged. We didn’t feel like waiting another 15 minutes for her to fix it, so we just paid and left. I don’t usually leave negative reviews and we really wanted to support a local diner, but this needs to be addressed before they scare more people off. For now, we won’t be returning.

Great meat and two with rotating daily options.

Don't pay too much attention to maps for parking, it's behind the little corner shopping area this is in.

This is the exact menu, style, and flavor i expect from small town country restaurants across the south. Only sadness was we were so full we didn't try the cobbler!

My food was uncooked, so instead of taking care of the $12 total they just discounted it. Literally had a blood on my plate from a porkchop . Definitely won't be back

I just love this place. I order 2-3 times a week so I can experience home cooking at its best. Never disappoints and love the daily specials. Special shout out to Rhonda. I was ready to place my order on ubereats and they restaurant was down so I called and asked if they would consider putting it up temporarily so I could order my dinner. They did that for me and that was way beyond my expectations. Highly recommend and I will continue to enjoy their wonderful food weekly. To the owner - Rhonda deserves a raise.

Couldn't get served after about 15 min. So we left. Been there before and food was adequate. Never going again.

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I have only been there once but everything we had was phenomenal. The rolls were soft and buttery. My hamburger steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The creamed corn was delicious as was the dressing with gravy. The only negative was that if I ordered french fries as a side there was an upcharge. Otherwise the foot was amazing. My dad had the chicken livers and he said they were cooked perfectly compared to most places that either don't fully cook them or cook them so they are hard as rock. If you are looking for some good homemade style food, definitely stop by.

Also tried the fudge chocolate cake and blackberry cobbler and they were just as good as the rest of the meal. I look forward to next time so I can try something else.

I ordered for pick up today. I did not receive my sweet tea. Great Lunch, NOT!!! No cornbread or biscuit to go with my vegetable plate! What??? What A Fuxxing Joke This place is. It must be ran by people from the North that do not know how southerners eat their Southern Food. I was born in Bama and I was taught how to cook at the age of 5 (five years OLD!) I could cook Better and serve better than this place. You are wasting your time eating here. Not fond of Cracker Barrel, but...I'll go there before here any Damn Time.
