The food was burnt and greasy. We waited over an hour for an APPETIZER. They didn’t inform us they didn’t have bacon(which is fine just tell us that when we order something with bacon). Eventually our food came out and was very gross. Our waitress was good and checked in on us a lot. The place was not busy at all. We were pretty much the only ones in there aside from like two other groups. We got burgers that were so burnt and greasy I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. The Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes were very good. 60 dollars for gross food and terribly disappointed( including her tip)

Great service. The menu is full of different options. It is a great place to bring the family or go to the bar area and play pool or watch sports.

Leyla was AMAZING very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the pickle chips and wings, and both were delicious. I would suggest asking for Leyla if you want someone who cares about your experience. Thank you Leyla. We will be back

Lots of standard American pub fare with a few special menu items that stand out. I was most impressed with the service and the quality of the food. The food is simply better quality than most American pubs and is prepared better.

This place serves amazing roasted chicken wings! Decided to try the lemon pepper, cooked and seasoned to perfection.
Will go back and try more things from the menu.
Also, the service was exceptional, quick and friendly.

First visit was last Sat. Server Angie was awesome & my mozzarella sticks were pretty good.
Than this Sat. I wanted to take my best friend. We sat down, the waitress came over, did not introduce herself, looks pretty exhausted, and she took her order after we were there about 10 minutes. After 45 minutes, we decided to leave. We had not received our appetizer or any food or anything, to include not a visit from our server.
I called back upon leaving and asked for the Mgr. I was questioned as to what for so I said we were just there waiting 45 minutes and had not even received our appetizer. (The restaurant is a sports bar and had 3 men at the bar & no other patrons at this time). Before I could finish my statement as to why I wanted to speak to the manager this young fella was on the phone yelling at me, saying I was dining and dashing. He said he was calling the police and giving them my name and phone no. that was on caller ID. With this, my friend, and I went back into the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager one more time. We were met with a young man behind the bar, yelling and screaming, and saying that our food had already been taken care of and the men at the bar would enjoy. Please keep in mind. Our food still had not been prepared and was NOT out now we’re into an hour. THE SO CALLED MGR ON DUTY yelled and cursed my friend while a drunken man sitting at the bar felt the need to yell at me. To be told I cannot afford food when there was no food to afford and of course I told the drunk I can afford to eat any where around here, and to have the young Mgr on duty broadcast my name he saw on called ID t strangers I will never return and will spread the word .
Learn how to train your staff! A. If there’s a problem in the kitchen tell your patron, B. If your server forgot the booth in the corner of the restaurant because she want to hang out at the bar then send someone else over to your patron C. Expect to have a complaint and teach your Mgr on duty how to handle a complaint when you don’t come to an empty table for 45 minutes.

We stopped for dinner after my grandson’s soccer game on Sunday evening thinking we could get a quick bite to eat; only 3 tables with guests. Took forever to get our food. Chips and salsa appetizer came out pretty quickly but then had to wait another 20 minutes for hummus and veggies. Entrees took another 20 minutes (so 40 minutes from time of order) and all were cold. My side salad came out last?? Only one waitress working and I think she was also prepping food. She was trying her best. My grandson ordered ice cream and after waiting 15 minutes, we just canceled the order. Not a good experience at all. We won’t be back.

A great place to get some beer and food after a round of golf at one of the neighborhood golf courses. Lots of screens around the place showing ongoing games, meaning it's a decent place to catch your favorite football (NFL or soccer) team's match.
The food was good and the beer tasted awesome coming out of the tap (of course, we were pretty thirsty and hungry after 5 hours of golf, so my opinion could be skewed). Their honey Sriracha wings sauce was yummy and gave a nice burn to complement the cold beer.
The fries and tater tots were hot and crispy being fresh made. Definitely worth ordering on their own. The all American Philly that I had was decent, but it was kind of bland. I would have preferred a little more flavor I suppose. The veggie flatbread was well done and very good, a definite recommend.
Angie, our hostess, was attentive and kept us updated about our order when it got delayed. The staff were friendly and helpful overall.

Vegetarian options: There are a few veggie options, at least 1 in each section.

Parking: Lots of parking space around

Kid-friendliness: The place is kid friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible

It was a little loud as they had an event going on, but they were able to seat us in the far corner for us!

My wife and I live close by, so we have been here a good amount of times (Including back when it was the Derby)
It’s always hit or miss with specific food items but we have kind of narrowed it down to our favorite things on the menu. Tonight (Thursday night trivia) was especially not great. We got a cup of French onion soup- which is usually pretty good. Tonight it was disgusting. It had a bizarre chemical-like aftertaste because of the croutons that were in it. These were unfortunately the same croutons that were on our chicken Caesar salad. Out of our party of 3, two of us had the salad and one of us had the soup- so we all experienced the gross croutons. The croutons made up at least 50 percent of the soup so it was truly inedible even after attempting to pick them out or eat around them. My wife and I finished the salad and pushed all of the croutons to the side- and our friend ended up just eating the chicken off of her salad and leaving everything else. When I brought it to the attention of the server and the other girl that was helping her run the food they advised that they were rye croutons and they had received multiple compliments on them- which is shocking because they tasted burned with a horrible aftertaste. And who puts rye croutons in French onion soup?!?! Regardless, please bring back the normal bread/croutons!
The Mac and cheese was still good! But the meal as a whole was the saddest one I have had there.

We love Sugar Hill Tavern. Been going for 10 years now and it’s never been better. Love supporting this local business where “everybody knows your name”. Highly recommend. Thanks John for the delicious food and friendly staff!
