I found the food here to be a bit hit or miss. I ordered the trotters with sea snail salad, and although the portion size was good, the flavor didn't quite come together for me. I felt that in your face flavor was missing on the trotters, although it wasn't bad. The bean paste dipping sauce was fantastic and I wished a larger portion was given. The sea snail salad I found to be bland, and for me, an after thought. I really wanted there to be more flavor in there, but...
I went to eat bossam and there was tofu kimchi bossam so I tried it. The tofu kimchi was delicious, but I didn't like the stir-fried kimchi in the middle placed on aluminum foil. I heard that high-acid kimchi is not good for mixing with aluminum foil, so I hope you don't have to use foil. Also, the bossam wasn't as good as before, perhaps because some parts were a bit dry.
The jok bal here was phenomenal! Bossam was good as well but the star was most def the jok bal. Good service and they were packed on a Saturday night! They have great beer specials and fresh banchan.
