Great food... budaejjigae is really good.. nice sausage and ham and lots of veggies. Great taste
Korean seafood soup (Hae-mul-jeon-goal) was surprisingly good. It has baby octopus, shrimp, clam, crab, and lots of veggies. Broth is amazing, and baby octopus was soft. You should add udon noodles for $3 because it is a game changer.
Most importantly, order the fried rice, and they will use that good broth to make the amazing fried rice. I asked them to add more sesame oil and seaweed flakes, and it makes the fried rice even more savory and amazing.
I had an amazing experience at Bally Budaejjigae! The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic. The budaejjigae was packed with flavor and had the perfect balance of spice and ingredients. Every bite was a delight, and you could tell they use high-quality ingredients in their dishes. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine or just looking for something new and delicious to try, I highly recommend Bally Budaejjigae. It’s definitely worth the visit!

The budae-jjigae at restaurants has a rich taste, but the budae-jjigae here has a clean soup with a lot of ham, so I enjoy it every time I go. The rice is also delicious when served in a pot and cooked with scorched rice. I was a little disappointed that there seemed to be fewer vegetables in the stew than before. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit shabby, so it would be a good idea to go casually if you just want to eat out rather than on a special occasion.

The BEST buddae-jjigae (Korean army stew) place in GA and perhaps in the US! It really tastes like the ones I had in Seoul, especially in Ui-jeong-bu, where it's famous for army stew.
The price is cheap, and the portion is A LOT. It comes with a steamed rice in a pot, which you can make into a porridge for dessert.
ALWAYS order and add ramyun-noodle, and be sure to ask the waitress to make you a fried rice after you finish the soup (but you always have to leave one cup of a soup for them to make the fried rice with that soup for 1-2 person serving of fried rice). With the order of noodle and fried rice, army stew only costs about $35 for two-three people. It costs over $30 for two bland bowls of pho these days, so this place is very affordable and will make you feel FULL.
You must check this place out. It's truly a hidden gem :)

As time goes on, the number of bean sprouts increases.. Is it Budae stew or bean sprout stew?

Came here with family after receiving a raving recommendation from our hair salon which we were at prior to coming here right across the street. What a fantastic meal! We ordered Budae Steak for 3 and Korean pancakes. We were under the impression that the Budae Steak came with a bowl of the Budaejigae (Korean Army Stew) but we were sadly mistaken. After finishing the majority of the meat and Korean pancakes we asked our waiter when the Budaejigae was coming out as we would have enjoyed it with the meal, but were told that it was simply called Budae Steak and did not come with Budaejigae. Bummer, so we ordered a single serving of Budaejigae. The owner came out later and apologized for the confusion and comped us a bowl of Budaejigae which was a very kind gesture. The stew was excellent as well though it was very spicy which was nice but we noticed there is an option for a milder version which we may order next time.
Sides were fresh and delicious which adds to the ambiance of the restaurant as well which felt like a home cooked Korean meal.
Service was very friendly and excellent ad well. They have a call button which we used a few times and the server came and gave us great service.
Parking was easy as the restaurant is shared with the Assi Plaza and neighboring restaurants. I can see myself returning here in the future and recommend them highly.
5 solid Stars and two thumbs up! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

This Budae Jjigae restaurant is a place I almost always go to whenever I stop by Atlanta. The budae stew that comes with pot rice is that delicious. The last time I had it, there were so many bean sprouts and green onions that it felt like spicy bean sprout soup with ham and sausage. I don't know if someone advised adding more vegetables to the budae-jjigae because it was too greasy, but I hope it brings out the original taste of the budae-jjigae more.
Don't let the plain and simple ambiance of the inside of the restaurant fool you, try the budaejigae...it will surprise you. Service is good and recommend this place.

Resides in a plaza with nothing but Korean biz. Pretty tasty soup with sausages and K Ramen. Restaurant was a casual place.
