Bottles and Bones is advertised and promoted as upmarket dining with fine dining prices. So let’s unpack this as it’s promoted. For 2 people, you will expect to pay anywhere between $200 – $350 with the tip. The price point here is important as this sets what you should expect.

Ambiance – A welcoming front of house with polite staff. Warm lighting with a clean and tidy setting. Nightclub music with a bass that vibrates through any calming feeling you were hoping for. Not a welcoming or relaxing sound to be partnering your dining experience.

Service – The employees were all warm and attentive. Dressed in the right attire for service. There is a lack of training apparent. If I’m having a soup for starter, provide a soup spoon and remove any unnecessary cutlery. If I’m not having a starter, then remove any unnecessary cutlery. Serve the chosen drink in the appropriate glass. Sparkling water should not be served in a Pinot Noir glass but instead in a water Delmonico/Highball glass with a slice of lemon or cucumber. Serve the food from the left of the diner and retrieve from the right. This should be fine dining 101. There are exceptions to this depending on the table positioning, but try not to serve across the table and expect the diner to take the incoming meal.
Food and Drink – The menu is slightly over complicated with room for simplifying. The wine selections need overhauling. Also use your local area resources and support local business. The wines are simplistic supermarket wines and it’s clear this is not a sommelier selection. Don’t expect refined pairing with your food. It would appear the food is provided by a Cook and not a Chef. It seems presentation and taste is not quality assured by the kitchen staff. If it had been, over citrussed seafood linguine would have been noticed, portion sizes would have been reduced, and a lack of presentation would have been corrected. How about changing the delivery of a fillet steak slapped in the middle of a plate with random slapped steak juices on the side, to, a steak circled with an accompanied Au Jus, or even maybe micro greens and a soft cooked quail egg. Each dish should not be permitted from leaving the kitchen without an assurance check from the Chef. If you are charging these kind of prices, then give the customer what they are paying for.

If you want to charge these kind of prices, and you want customers to return, then take a step back and understand what is expected for this price point. If you get it right, diners will happily pay these prices. The area is affluent and people have the money, but you’ve got to deliver what is expected.

Excellent experience all around. Our party of four shared the seafood platter, three of us had steaks and one the Bolognese. All was perfectly cooked and presented. There was live music, adding a special touch. Our server Emily took great care of us. She kept the service running smoothly and was a joy to work with.

Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely poor from start to finish. The server Allison was terrible. The food took an incredibly long time to arrive, and our server never came to check on us or see if we needed anything.

When my dish finally arrived, the lamb was raw even though I specifically ordered it well done. After sending it back, it took another 30 minutes to be returned.

I have honestly never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. I would not recommend this place.

Great service! Loved our waitress. Steaks were good but the vegetables were overcooked and the salad underwhelming. The most disappointing part of the evening was before we even got our checks and as we were finishing coffee and drinks, the hostess spoke to us and asked that we not linger, that they needed our table. I have never been addressed by a hostess in a fine restaurant to evacuate our table. It definitely changed the mood of the table, we left having a bad feeling about the evening. I expected better from Bottles and Bones!

Everything was exceptional for our Christmas Eve dinner. We enjoyed live music, decadent garlic bread, divine beef wellington, oscar salmon, cheesy potatoes and great wine and martinis. Our servers were professional, courteous and attentive. A perfect evening!

Had a fantastic experience on Christmas Eve for dinner. Good food, friendly and efficient staff.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was top shelf. The sides were all very tasty but all four steaks we ordered were severely undercooked (two medium rare and two medium) and came out rare at best.

Great menu. Great gluten free options for those who medically need it (celiac here). Decent whiskey selection. This is a great place to host an office function, fancy date night, or just really enjoy some great food! If anyone from this restaurant is reading this I'd really appreciate knowing where you bought your steak knives bc they but really well and had an amazing grip.

I can't say enough good things about Bottles and Bones! Whether it's for a corporate event or a family get-together, this place never disappoints. We've hosted work events there recently, with one group of 70 people, and it was flawless from start to finish. Rob, the owner, and his entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is truly impeccable. Every time we visit, the staff makes us feel like VIPs, and they know how to deliver a top-notch experience without skipping a beat.

If you're looking for a place that can handle both large groups and intimate family dinners with style and ease, Bottles and Bones is the spot. Highly recommend!
