We used to order takeout from Bukharaa regularly for a few years. Food is different now. Under new management, took us by surprise.

Naan is flat, floppy, and chewy. The entrees we like (chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, navratan korma) were too heavy with cream and sugar, and light on spices.

I think there was jalapeños in the paneer tikka masala? Weird.

We will probably not be eating here again.

Excellent and tasty appetizers and best ever tasted in Atlanta area. Quality, cost and Service - top starred. I marked 3 for Atmosphere as they are in process of upgrading ambience.

Loved the food . Customer service was awesome also . New management, new food menu and a must try . We tried mix platter in appetizer, chicken malai kabab , tandoori shrimp , panipuri and Gulab
Jamun. Will come again ?

This restaraunt is my recent favorite as it offers best food which makes me feel like home. My favorite items are Guntur kaaram chicken, pachimirchi kodi kebab, guti vankaya biryani, nalli gohst biryani, kaakinada royyala vepudu. These are spicer than others and matched my spice level. Defintely this is not a regular restaraunt with boring tikka masala menu! It has so much more to choose and gives them with the best taste. Also with the love for this restaraunt food, we even celebrated birthday party here and owners, staff welcomed the idea and supported us in all ways from arranging great food & mocktails. Would defintely recommend this restarunt for your taste buds to enjoy the flavourfull food.

Update: Upping it to 4* because after a day or two in the refrigerator the chicken biryanis calmed down sufficiently spicewise for us to really taste them and they were quite enjoyable. Even the chicken tasted quite good after reheating, so it's possible it was undercooked on the first day. Earlier: Tried this restaurant for the first time. Ordered their biryani special available on Tuesdays. All 3 of the biryanis were the same rice preparation except for the base - gongura chicken, bheemavaram chicken and gutti vanakaya (eggplant). The gutti vanakaya biryani was a standout with the eggplant perfectly cooked. Both the chicken biryanis were extremely spicy and the quality of the chicken was poor and it tasted stale. Quantity is plenty and the special pricing is attractive but for the fact that the chicken in the biryanis borders on inedible. Also the entire package smelled of raw onion instead of the aroma of the basmati rice, indicating the onions had been sliced way too long before packaging. I picked up - restaurant looked nice from what I saw and service was friendly.

When my friend ordered a beer, the server suggested me to try the Avatar mocktail and it was fantastic! Finally found the perfect drink to enjoy with my biryani.

Tried their special Bheja Fry and Chicken Kunda Biryani during lunch, and both were awesome! The medium spice level was just perfect, exactly as I requested. Plus, the staff was super friendly made the experience even better!

I was amazed by the Weekend special Kunda Chicken biryani..!! Its exactlh the village taste feels ☺️ they served with pot and opened infront of us.

We've been coming here for years. The owners have sold the business to new ownership. Good for them for moving on.
However, this is not the same Bukharaa as before. There are better Indian options. Bummed this is off our shrinking list of decent places to eat around here.

The food quality is very bad.
Chicken dishes were not cooked properly.
They bring ordered food in random sequence.
Staff does not care for the reputation or rating of the restaurant .
You have to even ask for the water
Please do not eat there even if it’s free food.
