I've been here twice now and am already becoming obsessed with this place.The udon noodles are simple, yet perfect. Noodles, broth, some toppings. Yet, the flavor was rich and delicious. I went to a "nicer" ramen restaurant to compare. And while the presentation was fancier, the flavor wasn't as good.I got the fried fish bento box and salmon roll the second time. Again, straight forward, simple food. It came with miso soup, ginger salad, deep-fried veggies and shrimp, and fried fish. Again, the simplicity allowed the quality of the ingredients to come through.Without a doubt, they take advantage of the fact they are in attached a grocery store by choosing the best ingredients to serve. No "Sysco" generic veggie mix.The only minor issue is that the food court itself isn't super pleasant to sit in. It's a bit chilly and open. But the food more then makes up for it.I'm already planning my next visit and trying to get my friends to come here.

It's just the old man and his wife running the place, but the quality is great. I call in advance, wait about half an hour and my food is usually ready by then. If it's taking too long, go do some grocery shopping, you're in a super market, maximize the value of your time and enjoy the fresh rolls you ordered afterwards. I've been coming to this place for years.

I got the assorted tempura & spicy tuna. $15ish. The sauce was authentic & the tuna tasted fresh. Only 2 types of veggies - Kabocha & potato I think. Pretty good. just wish they had a lunch special to save a little $.

Came here for the first time today and ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box ?. Everything was flavored wonderfully and clean without artificial seasonings. An exceptional value even with inflation driving up prices. The proprietor is a kind and gentle person. Would not hesitate to come back. The food came out quickly. Perfect for people on their lunch break or anytime. I waitressed at my share of Japanese restaurants and honestly this place is just as good as some of the better ones.

Clean, great prices until recently their prices have gone up but always enjoy their Sashimi salad and pork cutlet combo which is the perfect quantity and quality! Must try if you’re in the area since they don’t seem to be open no more than 5 days in 2021.
This restaurant is a nice surprise for our lunch at work! We ordered thru Uber Eats so I can't comment on how the service is like. Both fish fry and curry tonkatsu are delicious. Crunchy even after few hours. Not dry or greasy. My coworker enjoyed her curry tonkatsu. Besides my fish, I like the crunchy and sweet n sour radish pickles. They make the meal balanced! Price is decent for good portions. I will try their sushi next time.

Always had great quality and quantity sashimi salads fir the best price in town!!! Ordered ahead cause they're so busy during lunch time... also recently got their sashimi platter which was thick slices of fresh tuna, salmon

While I haven't been here during COVID, I enjoy the simplicity of this place. Simple in this case Is a very good thing. I come in, I order, I sit, and I enjoy my food in peace ( during non COVID times). Something about this place screams authenticity I always get my udon with fish fry and I just love the taste and convenience of this establishment. Please come here and enjoy this food!

Great rolls, value is incredible. I like to get them to-go and the man and woman who prepare the food are great as well. Personal favorite is the spicy CA roll and love how they use masago in that and the standard CA roll. Very fast and cheap but delicious. Better value than any other to-go sushi I've ever had. I haven't eaten their cutlets but heard they are great too.
