Just had a Reese’s flavored cake and my life is changed! Amazing

We used this bakery for our wedding and actually got two cakes through them. The tasting experience was amazing as we were able to do our tasting in the comfort of our own home. Every flavor we ended up trying we liked and were quite happy with what was on our cake(s).

We got a wedding cake and my wife surprised me with a groomsman cake. They both were exquisite and the groomsmen cake was actually a quite-detailed Lord of the Rings book that tasted absolutely stunning. We had several of the flavors in the cake and got a ton of compliments on the taste from our guests who had the different flavored tiers of the wedding cake.

I want to start out with 2 recommendations: the tasting and the actual wedding cake. The tasting was superb: 5 large cupcake size cakes, each a different flavor and each a different filling/frosting. Now I understand most people look at cake and think "Oh its cake" and I was among them. However, not this cake. One of the flavors was a Bourbon Carmel Cream and we had it on chocolate: decadent. The Almond cake with cookies and cream filling: stunning! My husband and I took the leftovers and shared with two friends: they loved the lemon. They were shocked by the lightness and fresh lemony flavor, they said it was well balanced. Highly recommend at least doing a tasting if you aren't sure.
Now my husband won $500 off our cake from a Wedding Expo. Once again I was still on the fence, because I am the one managing the budget. We saw in their shop an example of a stained glass floral cake design. We both had our mind turning on ideas after tasting the cakes. We were in love with the Chocolate with Bourbon Carmel cream, so were were totally getting that one! We had to pick 2 other flavor combinations because we needed 150 peoples' worth of cake. We selected the almond cake with cookies and cream filling as a bottom tier(12 in) and Red velvet with cream cheese as the middle tier(10in). The chocolate with bourbon caramel the upper two tiers(8in and 6in). We also opted to get the top tier prepaid for our 1 year (2025) anniversary in the contract. So we don't even have to save the cake in our already full freezer.
Delivery was wonderful, no issues: Peachtree City, GA. They set up the cake with all our toppers in the setup we had preset. Our venue cut smaller slices than expected so everyone ended up with 2 flavors. Well worth it. The artistic talent that went into the stained glass with our orchid flower and colors, was magnificent!
My husband I have already decided to return annually to get some cake, since where else do you get chocolate with bourbon caramel cream or almond with cookies and cream!

I have trusted this bakery for my 2 children’s birthday parties for years now. The cakes they make look so amazing and impressive and what’s even better is that they are delicious. I always get compliments on the cakes at our parties. Most recently we ordered a paw patrol cake for my son’s 3rd birthday. The cake was 2 tiers with the full paw patrol tower on top and a fondant Chase. It was incredible! The bottom tier was confetti cake with chocolate icing and the top was strawberry with vanilla icing. We can’t decide which is better! So so good. I LOVE this bakery.

I was in a panic to get a cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I realized that I waited too long and was concerned that she wouldn’t have the cute cake she wanted. I Googled specialty cakes and called Ir’s a Sweet Life. The girl that answered the phone told me to email Amanda with my specifications and picture. Honestly, I was nervous that she wouldn’t get back to me for a few days but within hours, I had a quote and I called and ordered the cake. My daughter LOVED it. It was exactly what she wanted AND it was delicious! My husband said “Next time we need a cake, we are going there!” It also fed double the amount I originally intended because it was so tall! I also had another quote that was 20% higher than this one. Hands down the best cake we ever had!

ATROCIOUS! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I placed my order and although the employees are kinds they higher up are not professional and communicative. They have hung up in my face and told me that it does not matter how I feel about the outcome of my purchase! Horrible service for a "luxury bakery"!

From my oldest son's first birthday to my youngest's most recent, they've consistently exceeded expectations. Amie and her team not only deliver delicious cakes but also exceptional service. I have traveled the world and tasted cannolis in almost every country. Who would’ve thought that this small bakery in Georgia would have one of the best cannolis that I have had. What really makes them delicious is that the shell seemed to be made at the bakery versus imported, it was fresh and crunchy but it didn’t fall apart and it wasn’t so soft that it was soggy. The cream was delicious and not too sweet. My only regret is that I should’ve bought two.

This bakery brought to life our vision for our baby shower. We wanted Calvin and Hobbes on our cake and scenes from the comic on our cookies. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined and tasted even better. Definitely our go to bakery for birthdays and events.

It was my first time visiting and I asked the red head, red eyebrow lady if they were out of strawberry shortcake. Instead of actually looking and checking, she said if we don’t have it, probably not. Very rudely might I ask. You don’t have to worry about me visiting again! Hopefully she’s not the owner. Young lady, please work on your customer service skills! I was looking to purchase a quite a few desserts for my cheerleading girls.

We ordered a cake here for our daughter's 3rd Birthday and they went above and beyond our expectations. The cake was beautiful, tasted yummy, and received many compliments by guests. Definitely worth every penny- which was a fair price for the exceptional product you receive!!! Amanda was amazing to work with and very nice! We will be getting many event cakes here and love to support such kind and amazing people and businesses. They deserve more than 5 stars and I was happy to refer many people from our party place their way!

We ordered a custom cake from them and it was perfect! We did a red velvet flavor that may be my most fave RV I’ve ever had. My daughter was so excited about this cake. I would def order from here again.

Very surprised to pick up a cake that is not covered and was told they have no boxes big enough to take a cake out of store that is covered. This was not a small normal size birthday cake. Had to stop at a party store down road to buy a bigger cake box so cake did not dry out in car. Considering the price and ordering week in advance, disappointed in service.
