Over the course of an entire week, their meals were a huge hit with our team of 35 people. We used Katie’s Catering this past Saturday for a surprise 50th birthday party for my husband. I am so pleased with the results from start to finish. From the initial call I spoke with Angela, she is very professional, kind and thorough throughout the entire process. I wasn’t there for the delivery due to keeping my husband occupied, but my daughter said Angel was very sweet and he was very professional.The food quantity and quality was excellent! Communication is prime…… food is amazing and most importantly they are extremely accommodating when it comes to food allergies. All clients are happy and pleased with a healthy meal but tasty! Family is always happy as they can reheat all dishes in the oven if not needed that day .
Staff is always helpful when it comes to a suggestion for an add on. Seasonal salads are amazing! Love the fruit option for dessert.
Mexican option is better than any Mexican restaurant I have used in the past.

We had the perfect wedding day in Dahlonega, GA, no thanks to Katie’s Catering! I placed a catering order with them for the evening of my wedding on March 21st. The order was supposed to arrive at 7:30 p.m. Apparently there was a mix up, admittedly it could have been my fault, for the order to arrive at 7:30 A.M. First of all, as a caterer, if you get an order for dinner foods scheduled to be dropped off at seven in the morning, isn’t that worth a phone call to confirm there hasn’t been a mistake? Even if the error was mine, the events that followed were completely unacceptable.
The delivery person woke me up by calling at 7 a.m. to tell me he was at my location with the food. I told him it was supposed to be delivered that evening, he said, “let me call the owner and I will call you back”. I jumped up out of bed and saw the driver turning around to pull out of the driveway. I tried to call him back to see if I needed to go ahead and take the food and reheat it that night, because I did not want to be left with nothing. The driver did not answer. The driver then called me back a couple of minutes later and was very understanding and nice. He said that he spoke to the owner and that it was “their mistake” so they would remake the food and deliver it that evening. I proceeded to ask him if I should go ahead and take what he had because I wanted to be sure we had food for that evening. He said no, and again assured me that “the owner” would take care of it and that the food would be remade and redelivered by 7:30 that evening.
7:30 that evening rolls around, my new husband and I are still out with the photographer when we start getting texts from our guests that the food has not arrived. I sent a text to Katie’s catering and received no answer. I called Katie’s catering and received no answer. I called the delivery driver from that morning, who said that he was not working, but he would try to get in contact with the owner and have him call me. Finally, at 8:04, I get a call from EZ Cater, the third party that Katie’s catering orders go through. The lady from EZ Cater told me that she was on the other line with the owner of Katie’s and that the owner told her that I “REFUSED” my food delivery that morning and that they were not delivering food that evening. I told the very nice lady from EZ Cater what happened during my interaction with the delivery driver that morning, that I offered to take the food and reheat it 12 hours later, but was assured that was not necessary and the food would be there at 7:30 p.m. I offered her the delivery driver’s phone number to verify what I was telling her. She then put me on hold to speak to the owner of Katie’s and was told that even if they agreed to give me the food, they did not have a delivery driver and I would have to go pick it up!
Thankfully, I was able to get a refund through EZ Cater, but beware of putting important events in the hands of Katie’s Catering. If you do, you may be forced to try to find a restaurant to feed the wedding party and guests at 9:00pm like we did. Getting home exhausted at 11:00pm on our wedding night further accented the terrible, inept service and communication from this business.
