Delicious Korean food!

최고에요~ 친절하시고 맛있어요We had a Korean stew with goat with fried rice at the end. It was amazing. Reminds me of restaurants I would go to in Seoul when my husband and I lived there. I recommend this quiet and unassuming restaurant for authentic Korean food. Sorry no pictures. It was too tasty.

It’s called DJ House Korean Restaurant now at least according to the Menus. However, the food is authentic and delicious. Sadly no Korean BBQ as advertised.Highly recommended if you’re seeking truly true to South Korea cuisine.

The food is good and the people from there are friendly. The place isn't that packed

In the realm of ATL Korean BBQ, it's going to be a toss up on what you are looking for. That being said, you do get what you pay for and when it comes to premium cuts of meat and such, at a $23.99 AYCE K-BBQ, it does show in terms of quality. I wanted to try somewhere different than the usual locations and found this place through Yelp (I'm a Yelp Elite, it's my first go to for finding food!) The reviews obviously are scattered and there is no real consistency on what people are stating other than the price point and $20 is better than $30 so I figured I'd see what this place is about. It's tucked away off Satellite Blvd by Sara's Doughnuts and the Greek Island Grill off Lawrenceville-Suwanee plaza. The parking will be tough if it's peak dinner hours so be mindful of that. Upon entry, there's not a formal spot to welcome guests as there is no host stand. Just walk in and wait unless you are already seated with your party waiting. You can tell the place is dated with fake bamboo decor and it's an old-style 90s Korean restaurant. The auntie who served us seemed to be the only one working the place but it was dead and at 6:00 pm on a Monday night is to be expected but to be the only two patrons seemed a bit off. She was nice, not very attentive, and seeing that she was the only one working, made for a difficult experience as more people started flowing in. But it's not that big of a place and all she had was me and my friend at the time so, I found that negligible. So I order the AYCE and we wait. They do use charcoal but kick off the heat with butane which is fine but it does make for inconsistent cooking temps. The $23.99 price point was purely for beef cuts which was fine but the quality shows in terms of the meat. When the auntie brought the meat out, it was frozen and stuck together and you can tell the quality of it wasn't good. I was excited for the intestine meat as I've been kind of craving what that would be like after watching years of "Bizarre Foods" and needless to say, I like intestine meat. Offal seems to be a growing trend. But the angus steak, the brisket, and the rib meat were just cut up into chunks and cooking it was a hassle. The presentation wasn't all that great either making it a less than spectacular experience. Granted, we were there just to eat meat but still, some effort into making it a good dining experience is worth it considering we are paying customers. I did appreciate more of the "banchan (side dishes)" and they do offer some wrapping veggies which is what Korean BBQ is really known for so I can say that it was more traditional Korean BBQ than some of the places ATL is known for. All in all, for a cheap meal and not a lot of fluff, you can take your bet on Pearl's Garden. But remember, you do get what you pay for and $23.99 plus tax and tip with the type of meat quality this place has, you may want to shoot elsewhere. I know that this is a one time experience for me. Not that this place was bad but there are others where you can eat better with just a little more on the price tag and the experience will be grander as well.

We came here for an early dinner and there was no one to greet us. There was a lady, owner I assume, in the kitchen with Queen blasting so she didn't hear us come in... Which is totally understandable... But she like never heard us the whole time we were there... I've never hollered like that before in a restaurant trying to get someone's attention... We eventually walked over to the kitchen to order food.. We got the Seafood/sprouts plate and pork/octopus plate... When the food came they looked and tasted EXACTLY the same! When we said they look the same, the owner said, "no, there's pork in this one" ........ she's not wrong but... uh... what. Yeah. It was pretty tasty tho.

If you want authentic Korean food flavor originating from the Jeol La Do province in Korea this is your place. Jeol La Do is known for flavorful dishes. You know a person can cook when they're from Jeol La Do. Mama don't play! 😉 Service is great although keep in mind when it gets busy they don't have enough staff IMO.

Even by Seoul standard, this is a great restaurant. If you want authentic Korean food, this restaurant is a must!

Owner is friendly. Food is pretty good. A little on the meh side of atmosphere. But I love that it's never super crowded so my toddler can go a little crazy without disturbing anyone.

I ended up walking back out after waiting for awhile with no acknowledgment by the staff who could be seen appx 30 ft away without any obstructions. I guess that must be the reason why the restaurant was 100% EMPTY!!!

Walked in, nobody wanted to serve us. We wanted the AYCE and was told there's no table available but they can cook the meat for us at the non grill table. No thanks.

Liberian jane Together we can

The service was wonderful I just hope that they would treat that none Korean customer as nice as they treat the Korean customers.
