First time eating at Fat Boys today. Just traveling through and needed a good place for lunch. It was outstanding. I had ribs, baked beans and loaded baked potato. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and needed no sauce. The loaded baked potato was almost like a whole twice baked potato. There actual pieces of bacon in it. My buddy had 2 whole catfish, Cole slaw and loaded baked potato. The catfish were perfectly done and rather large fish. Unless you are starving, don't get the 3 fish plate. That could feed 2 people. Our waitress was perfect. Didn't constantly bug us but refilled our drinks as we needed them. The whole staff was just plain great. If I am evar back in the area for lunch, I will return to Fat Boys. Highly recommend this place.

This is an oasis in the middle of a long drive. Just good home cooking with large portions and friendly service.
If you're driving through south Georgia to Tallahassee, there's a lot of farm land and good hard-working folks; this is the place where the community comes to eat and for good reason, the food is great. It is not fancy and very diner-esque, with homemade food. BBQ, Burgers n fries, fried fish, beef tips and gravy, etc, with weekday lunch specials, it's the place to stop.

This was some of the best Barbecue I've had in a long time! The fries and baked beans were also good. Even though she was very busy and had her hands full waiting on other customers, the waitress did a great job of taking care of us.

Fries are absolutely bussin'

Amazing food .. I highly suggest the brisket chipped . My only regret was getting the lunch portion rather than the dinner .. took the ms a rib plate home they where very tender and tasty aswell .. good portion of food as well . Gold sauce was very good
