This is the best place hands down, food was great service was friendly. The food was amazing you won't be disappointed. Truly an amazing Experience. Will be returning!!!

First of all, this is a really nice place. Walked in without a reservation ,so my husband and I were willing to wait in the lounge. We proceeded to the bar to get some drinks, but unfortunately were not able to get them. We stood there for a whole 20 minutes with both bartenders seeing us and what I suppose was the manager standing right next to us without any acknowledgement we were there. A simple welcome and please wait a few minutes for us would have sufficed. Needless to say we left and cancelled our 8pm reservation we had made at the door. I'm sure food must be very good when the restaurant is truly booked, but customer service has to be in the forefront.
Not sure about this place anymore. Take it from an avid reviewer.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, it was an hour and a half drive, but so worth it, we will definitely be back. Love the atmosphere, so much to look at. We had a server named Sierra and she was absolutely amazing, answered all our questions about different menu items and had the best personality and was always smiling. The food was so yummy, I had the grouper tacos, got all the toppings on the side, so I can make sure I liked everything (2nd pic) and my husband had the French dip. We would definitely get again, but next time we definitely want to try something else on the menu because we know it will be delicious. We had never had fried ice cream, but after Sierra recommended and explained in detail how it's made and we could not resist. Every single thing is homemade except for the bowl it came in and oh my gosh, it was sooooo good. This Was a perfect place to have lunch, celebrating 35th wedding anniversary.

Five stars across the board. Our family stopped by for a lunch passing through Sylvester during our road trip. The loaded baked potato soup was fantastic, so was the home made meatball sandwich and the burger. Our food was fresh and delicious, the service impeccable. A must-stop gem.

My friends and I went to The Palace for dinner and to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We ordered our food and literally had to wait over 2 hours to get it. We asked for the manager twice, and no manager came. Finally, the table next to ours asked to see him and he came out and hugged/greeted them. As he was walking away from their table, he decided to finally stop at our table to ask was everything good without even acknowledging we had asked to speak with him at least twice. Our friend tells him how displeased we were because it had taken 2 hours to get our food. His only explanation was that they were busy. Busy or not, it is unacceptable for it to take 2 hours to get our food when we saw other tables with parties bigger than ours come in and get their food before us! The service was terrible!

We celebrated my best friend’s birthday here, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The wait staff went above and beyond, the food was delicious, and the bartender did her big one—seriously impressive. I would recommend this restaurant ten times over. Sylvester truly has a hidden gem.

it's a Sunday. I'm in town and got a flat tire. I dont know anyone in town . a kind soul stopped took my flat tire and went to Albany to get another. I stopped in the restaurant and thought I will try this place as soon as I'm settled. however, today is not a good day. I'm on the same road as the restaurant , asked if I could use the restroom, I'm in a pickle at the moment. unfortunately sense I don't have a table and my dog is with me I can't use the restroom. fair enough.

I ate lunch here for a work event with the Company I work for. The inside of this place is really interesting, with the paintings and other items. The staff serving us was excellent and the lunch was really good. I had the chicken wings and a salad. The chicken wings were fried and dipped in a sauce that was sweet and a little spicy. They were good to me. The salad tasted fresh. No complaints from me about the food. It was tasty. Overall the lunch experience I had was good.

Love the aesthetic of this restaurant. Decent menu of home style cooking, some surf and turf. We had a party of 6, service was okay for 6pm reservation. They were out of the chicken pot pie, ribs and bottle of wine we wanted. We ordered grouper, crab cakes, beef stroganoff, lemon pasta. The crab cakes were pretty good for this area. The green beans and collards were over salted.

This place is spectacular. Kim, the bartender, was friendly and knowledgeable. We sat at the bar and had the meatballs and the bacon-wrapped dates which were both excellent. Will definitely come back next time we are passing through town.
