The Palace Restaurant & Bar

I dined at The Palace for the first time today. It was absolutely outstanding! The date, bacon, blue cheese appetizer is to die for! Kimberly was a fabulous server and made wonderful recommendations. This is definitely a 10/10 restaurant!

Great food, service, and atmosphere!

Most menu items were unavailable and the staff were highly undertrained on the alcohol menu. Overall, prepare for poor quality regarding service and guest experience.

If someone told me that you could get Maryland-good crab cakes in Sylvester, Georgia, I wouldn’t believe them either, but they’re a must try! Generous amount of tasty crab. Great ambience, food, service!

Okay I need to get some things off my chest about this establishment, while I was there I over heard the owner yelling at the employees for no reason. I understand that sometimes people make mistakes but I have witnessed this behavior numerous times. Last week he had a bartender walk out because of the verbal abuse and also had 2 servers quit the same night because of this behavior. But that's not the reason for this review, I came in today for lunch and I walked in on him yelling at the hosts and telling her that she was too stupid to do her job. This is unacceptable, then he went to ask if she was pregnant because in his own words her dress looked a little tight. Like really how could someone treat another individual like that. This is uncalled for. My family and I will no longer come back or advertise a business that is full of hatred for the employees. Someone needs to speak up because this is ridiculous and against workers rights.

The food is always great. The hostess Kayla is the best in the business. All I have to say if ya ever have a bad experience here . It has to be you because this place delivers every time.

The Palace could easily be somewhere in Europe or any big city in the world. We are so fortunate to have them in South Georgia! The decor and atmosphere is so well thought out and beautiful. The attention to detail is superb! Diamond, our server, was excellent. She went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was amazing. The entire staff and the owners were all welcoming and devoted to making sure that we were having a great time. The food itself was beautifully plated and the flavors meshed together beautifully. Every single part of the experience has been meticulously planned and executed and it shows.

They definitely have a kitchen staff problem. I order Beef Stroganoff and got hamburger helper’s beef stroganoff. Hardly worth 22.00 Dollars. Plus it took way to long for main course to arrive. To far to go for hamburger helper,

We had a reservation but still waited about 30 mins to be seated. The food is mediocre for the price. The service needs a Management Overhaul. There is clearly a huge problem in the kitchen. Management needs to improve drastically like yesterday. We waited two hours for our food. This was Saturday evening. Arrived at 7pm and left around 10pm. No drinks, just food and like I said we had a reservation.

Based on the reviews the extensive wait times on meals continues to be a problem for many guests.

It is such a beautiful restaurant. It's my sincere hope that Management can receive constructive criticism and improve in the kitchen. We'll try again to see if it improves.
