This is our to to spot to stop on our way to Blue Ridge. The food is FANTASTIC and the different BBQ sauces are all incredible and unique. Our baby approved too. Despite the large amount of traffic we were seated fast and got our food fast. No complaints here!
I’ve been to Biguns several times over the years, but the last two times the barbecue has been dry or overcooked. The lima beans were overcooked and the okra just wasn’t good. I do love the people there. I love the service and the atmosphere. I’m not sure what’s happening but the food seems to have gone a little downhill.
I didn’t get a chance to eat because they were closed; however, after hitting a deer in the middle of nowhere in Georgia, this was the first place I found that gave me a safe spot to park while I waited for the county to come take a report.
The only downside is that they lock the gate at 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, so I did have to move to the bottom of the hill to wait for the deputy to arrive.
I’d absolutely eat here...
