Beautiful winery. Plenty of seating options. Loved the sweet wine selection. Had meat and cheese along with the wine. Really worth the trip if visiting GA. Highly recommend

What a great day we had! We purchased the $45 tour. Logan served us our tastings then gave us the best private tour. He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We left with 2 bottles of wine each that were not in our normal pick as we enjoyed some new flavors. The cartecay pizza truck had the best pizza after our tour and we went home very happy and satisfied with our excursion. Beautiful grounds and truly a family atmosphere. We will be back!

This place is gorgeous, you feel transported to somewhere in Europe. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and fun. We enjoyed walking the grounds and some delicious wines. They even have some snacks and goodies available for purchase

Beautiful Saturday afternoon with live music, great wine and fantastic views. So relaxing! We originally sat inside but it was so full of people that we couldn’t hear each other talk. But outside was much nicer. Large selection of wines to try but my favorite was the summer muscadine wine. Lots of fun people and nice selection of great music. We didn’t do the winery tour so I can’t speak to that but services were great. I didn’t care for the food so much. You had to choose your cheeses, meats etc from a fridge and serve yourself. They don’t have services for food. Just wine. That was still fine with us!

We did not know what to expect as we traveled to Ellijay, and since the winery was out in the country, it looked like it was driving out in the desert and all of a sudden this beautiful countryside opened up with château like buildings. The inside of this winery was exquisite absolutely unexpected and gorgeous. The tasting was fabulous. Wind ended up doing the tasting and buying two bottles of wine sat outside and enjoyed the music and the view bought three lavender bouquets to take back to family and just totally enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back and plan to bring friends and spend the night and just really enjoy a wonderful weekend. Highly recommend this place five stars and would give more if we could.

A beautiful vineyard to sit back and relax. Great selection of wines. Wesley is extremely nice. Don’t leave without saying hi to Shooter.

Amazing vibes, wine, and service! An absolute favorite in North GA!

First time going and this place has a beautiful view and the atmosphere is so relaxing. They had live music and a BBQ food truck and both were really good.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The only thing I wish that was different is that they served food. I believe they let you bring your own charcuterie for example and I think they have events on the weekend but we went on a Friday. We then visited several vineyards in the area and this was the top vineyard

Chateau Meichtry is one of my favorite spots near jasper Georgia. The live music was great energy without overpowering the laid-back vibe. The venue itself is stunning, with rolling hills, mountain views, and plenty of space to relax with a glass (or two). Speaking of which, both the reds and whites were exceptional—smooth, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately start planning your return. Highly recommend!
