Terrible service. Called in an order and stood behind a man who was checking out. After 5+ minutes, my presence had not even been acknowledged. Instead, she looked past me and waved to the incoming group who she left me standing there to wait on. My food was sitting on the counter and waiting on me before I even walked up. After she took the orders of not just the one, but two tables, both of which came after me, and filled their drinks, I left. No point in paying for cold food and a cold shoulder. Not one word was spoken to me the entire time I stood there.

Best little diner on the way to Talladega! The chicken biscuits are amazing!! And the prices can't be beat. They also have great coffee. We visit every time we go to Talladega for a race.

Got the chicken and dressing, HORRIBLE. It was shipped up like 2 scoops of chicken salad and in fact, that is EXACTLY what it was like. Where was the dressing???? And so very cold and just 2 little hard spots like dried out chicken salad. Greens were so salty I couldn't eat them. Pinto beans and sweet potato casserole, WONDERFUL. Cornbread, it was OK. Brown gravy, too salty, too thick, did nothing for the HARD SCOOP of chicken whatever.
First time and last time I'll ever get food there again. HORRIBLE MEAL for almost 20$. That 4. Whatever they got must be from locals who love them. Again, my first and my last time.

Delicious southern food including omelets & other breakfast food, fried fish, pork chops, & even rye toast & raisin toast, etc. Typical booth-style diner appearance. Servers were very prompt, polite & helpful.

Food is definitely a 10 out of 10. The service is always pleasant and the employees are very polite. The place is kinda old but they do a very good job at keeping it clean and neat. I've never had a bad experience eating here. Sometimes some pretty famous people stop through here to eat so that's pretty cool. Parking lot could use some TLC and that's about the only negative thing I could say about this place. Highly recommend eating here.

It's a decent, typical Small Town Diner. It took a little bit to get service, it wasn't exactly spotless clean, and the food was nothing exceptional. If you like foods cooked in fat, this is your place. They have decent eggs but it was a bit greasy for my taste. They also serve vegetables for lunch and dinner. We were there for breakfast. It was acceptable food for traveling, and it's convenient to I-20. We were passing through on one of our many trips does small town America. A lot of people will find this type of place great. It was just a little greasy for two health conscious people. But again, if you're looking for country cooking and you don't mind a little extra grease, you'll love it. People were really nice. An elderly man, who appeared to be a regular, couldn't find his wallet, and they went out of their way to help him. Good people.

For an additional $0.50 you can add mushrooms to your burger. The mushrooms you receive are cold, canned mushrooms in a small ramekin on the side. It was definitely not what I was expecting. The burger was decent and the fries were fresh. It just wasn't good enough for a return visit.

Great roadside diner. If you’re thinking about
going to waffle house, STOP and go here. It reminded me of a much better version of waffle
house and it was slightly cheaper.
