they now make up prices as they go, greedy. seems to be a problem when people come in, like she doesn't want to be there anymore. not kid friendly. but the food is good.

What a lovely place to stop on our travels. Great coffee and ambience. I will also say was struck by the amazing customer service of the gentleman who served us. Also the staff were super sweet to a regular customer it was lovely to see. Darling town as well!!!

Stepping into this coffee shop is like entering a haven of warmth and friendliness. The ambiance is incredibly cozy, making you instantly feel at home. The staff are not just attentive but genuinely friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. As for the coffee, the latte I had was excellent—truly a high-quality brew that surprised me, especially considering the rural location of the shop. I also had a delicious breakfast sandwich that was just as impressive as the coffee. One heads-up for future visitors: while the environment is inviting, the Wi-Fi is pretty much non-existent. The speeds clocked in at just one MPS up and down, so if you're planning to work remotely, be prepared to use your own wireless data. Also, they don't offer alternative milk options, but that's understandable given the shop's rural setting and likely limited demand for such items. But don't let that deter you—the charm and quality of this hidden gem are more than worth a visit.

My favorite coffee shop to visit when I’m on the west side of the state. Kim is the best! I love that she uses local roasters and makes you feel at home. My favorite is their americano!

Loved this place. Visiting from NC and my friend doesn’t drink coffee so I was here 3x on a weekend visit. Fun atmosphere and fresh food and coffee and even picked up a nice pair of earings made by the owners.

I've always had good experiences here and they are so friendly! The food and drinks are also incredible.

Worked here for 12 years off and on with my mother and grandmother. Full disclosure. I have been to coffee shops from Miami to Manhattan and there is no coffee shop more cozy and unpretentious as my mother's place. Tallapoosa has the friendliest faces in the USA and there are many local landmarks, but K&M is the entry point where you're sure to run into everyone, like the city's guardian angels (Tommy and Mrs. Renee), resident LEOs, the mayor... the list goes on. It saddens me when belligerent passersby are rude to my family, especially my grandmother, but all-in-all, Tallapoosa's K&M is the perfect meeting spot for the community I believe to be the nation's finest.

There are not too many options in Tallapoosa, so I suggested the coffee shop for lunch one Friday at work. We called in 9 sandwiches at 10:30 to pick up at noon. When we arrived, they were not very nice. We were told we needed to call in an order that size at 8:30! Who wants a warm sandwich at noon that was prepared at 8:30 in the morning? There was no one there when we begin paying for the orders. Then they got upset and told us they were ringing up the rest together to speed up the process. Someone (one person) walked in and they apologized for serving us?? When all was said and done, we got back to the office and they called telling us they forgot to charge us for one sandwich and asked us to come back. I politely told her to take it out of the tip we left ‍ Super rude and ZERO customer service. We will not be ordering from there again for our Friday lunch. Leaving one star because zero is not an option.

Has sign on door that says public bathroom but will not let you use unless your a paying customer. And there's some rude bald man that bite my head off when we ask about the bathroom...I had two kids with me! Then gave us directions to go around the corner & guess what no bathroom! And it's pouring down rain!

This place is a joke! We will never order from them again! We work locally and order out on Friday. Since we like to frequent local small businesses, we thought we would give them a try. We placed the order for 9 sandwiches at 10:30. Not burgers or steaks, sandwiches! Like chicken salad and ham! When two of the ladies went to pick them up at noon, it was a disaster! She (the owner!) scolded them for ordering and told them we were taking away from their costumers!!! Another costumer came in, (the ONLY other costumer in the place) they apologized for us ordering! She pulled one of our ladies aside and told her if we were going to order this much, we needed to call in by 8:00 am!!! They separated a couple of the orders for us to pay then refused to separate anymore, then she had the nerve to call us and say we did not pay for a sandwich! We heard about how horrible the service is before, but we thought we would give them a try. Everything we heard was absolutely true!! The food was okay but not at all worth dealing with the owner! Ten people will never step back in this place again!

My absolute FAVORITE coffee shop! Honestly sometimes even better than Starbucks to me. The espresso, coffees, and food are made fresh and to order every single time. The owners are kind people who make every experience a great one. Let's not forget the art you can view and buy inside! It's beautiful, the setting is comforting and cozy. A great place to have a nice cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast bagel, and just relax!
