I have always wished for a place like this here in Tallulah Falls. And finally, after our beautiful hikes through the park, we discovered this gem and were very pleasantly surprised. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and charming – including the owner or manager, who truly cared about making us feel comfortable.
The food was an absolute highlight. Everything we ate was simply delicious—high-quality delicious. Not just tasty, but truly exceptional. The view was fantastic; we could relax, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the mountains and the water—an absolute dream.
There is seating both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for us. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much! And by the way, the playground is another wonderful highlight, as it allows parents to relax while the kids are entertained.

We loved everything about this place. The staff was friendly and helpful, the outdoor lawn area was very relaxing and laid back, and the food was DELICIOUS. I had the chef's special of the day... Sesame pork belly sliders with sesame slaw, pickled onion, and garlic aioli served with a side of CRAB RANGOON! WHAT?! And it was so incredible! This was an oasis after a long hike around the gorge!

Had an absolute blast at the Edge Cafe! We got there right as they opened on a chilly November Saturday morning, and they were excellent! The fellow and lady who helped us were so kind and were so passionate. They already had space heaters heating up the indoor seating area. We had the Kyoto burger, The Orchard and my 3 year old had the beef sliders. Everything was delicious, and then after the food, we got a headstart on digestion and enjoyed some of the outdoor games. Definitely coming back if we are in the area.

Went in off season on a rainy evening with our party of 7 to include 4 kids, and the staff took such great care of us keeping the fire going outside and providing quality service. The food was AMAZING! We were so impressed.

We waited 40 minutes for some wings and a sandwich… too much waiting and the food is just ok nothing special . We were sitting at the bar and the bartender never offered us even a glass of water.

What a wonderful place! Good vibes and fantastic food 👌🏽 I got the steak dirtbag sandwich; it was juicy, tender, and flavorful. My friend got a chicken Caesar salad, delicious dressing and the grilled chicken was cooked to perfection.
Their outdoor area is wonderfully spaced, dog friendly and even has a cool rock climbing area to participate in! Definitely will be back!

Have been to Tallulah Gorge a few times, but somehow missed this amazing little diner. Excellent food, friendly and welcoming service, great options and a wonderfully unique atmosphere. It was just my wife and me, but it's a perfect place for the family and kids of all ages. You can even walk there from the park, if you're up to crossing the highway! Highly recommended!
Kid-friendliness: Rock climbing wall, tetherball, corn hole, giant jenga, and more, with plenty of room to run around while the parents eat and have full visibility on the kids.

We visited this place while on vacation at the state park across the street. The gentleman that grated us was very friendly as was the entire staff. We found the process very reasonable and the food was amazing. It is very family friendly and modern but still has a high country feel.

Nice place, but the Angus burger was a bit undercooked and not that good.

Discovered this absolute hidden gem of a farm to table restaurant (with a climbing wall?!) by accident because Max's Pizza was closed due to a fire.
Note: It's hidden on the lower level of a outdoors outfitter, that also mostly hidden because it's on a hillside slightly visible from Hwy 41 with a nearly blind driveway in a curve.
Had the 4 cheese flatbread (the marinara and the exquiste craft cheeses and Italian spices rival any $200 a meal fine Italian cafe) , and the Italian panini (with delicious on-site smoked Italian meats) all stacked a mile high between two slabs of stone oven baked and charred flat bread)...all for under $49.00 for two - including tip
We also had the very generous serving of fresh made chili. One of the best ever featuring on-site smoked meat, chives, fresh shredded cheddar cheese, and topped with about half a bag of "Frito" type chips (that tasted like may have been baked on site too - extra crunchy and extremely flavorful). Did not ask about the seasonings in the chili - which were a culinary symphony of perfection. But I know it had some of the best/freshest local tomatoes and onions ever...along with the chives or green onion.
They have an assortment of local craft brew beers, but on a hot day we opted for good old dark, rich, and just the right amount of sweet tea.
The restaurant has a large rec area with corn hole games, seating on a large grass area, fire pit, and a MASSIVE CLIMBING/BOULDERING WALL.
Last there is a massive laid back covered patio overlooking the recreation area and several tables and chairs with umbrellas close to the climbing wall...
5 Star all the way around (and the staff was as exceptional as the food - all climbers and outdoors men knowledgeable about climbing, mountaineering, and local adventures). They kept us engaged with exciting stories about trips to the Himalayas, (jealous), climbing across America, and the colorful history of the food and restaurant.
Maybe the best kept secret in Northern GA.
Amazingly, there were very few people there...
The hosts asked us to spread the word - a request I am glad to honor.
Go there, you'll be delighted you did!
PS If you are climber or outdoorsy type...the entire upstairs of the building is a large climbing store and outdoors outfitting company.
PPS Altough I expose numerous poor restaurants or owner who don't deserve your business. As you see when I find a gem like The Edge...I shout their praise from the rooftops. Because I want these proprietors to be very successful as a reward for delighting us in every way - and I want tem to be there forever, so we can keep returning and reliving this captivating memory! Go Today!
Kid-friendliness: Perfect for families and kid...huge grassy yard with lots to do...
