For over 30 yrs I have been traveling through Tallulah Falls on our way to the Smokey's. I have always considered it my gateway to the Appalachians , always stopping at the Overlook for the view and an ice cream. Through the years the Building that Tallulah Adventures occupies would momentarily open and close but never anything sustainable, which i've always thought would be the perfect place for what it is now. On my trips this summer I saw that there was a new establishment and stopped in to check it out, WOW !!!!!!! To my amazement I was blown away by Tallulah Adventures and The Edge Cafe. My experiences there having been nothing but GRATIFYING !!!!! It is a must stop for me but most of all the people who work there are the BEST !!!!! I love to be around people who are young and alive , the service and fellowship is warming and the food, beer ( Edge Cafe) and outdoor gear (Tallulah Adventures ) are PERFECTION !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all for such a positive experience each time I stop in. Can't wait to see ya'll again in the fall !!!!!!!!!

The Edge Café at Tallulah Adventures is a hidden gem right next to the breathtaking Tallulah Gorge. After exploring the trails and taking in the views of the waterfalls and canyon, this café was the perfect spot to relax. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I had the Smoked chicken wings and also tried one of their flatbread pizzas—both were excellent. They’ve got a great variety, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. You’re surrounded by lush mountain scenery, and there’s plenty of outdoor space to unwind. It’s laid-back, welcoming, and has a fun energy with things like corn hole, a climbing wall, and even a grassy area for kids to play. You can tell it’s designed for both adventure and comfort.
The staff was friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. It’s not just a place to eat—it’s an experience that complements the beauty and spirit of the park. Whether you’re coming off the trails or just looking for a great meal with a view, The Edge Café is definitely worth the stop.👍👍👍

I stopped here for lunch after a hike, had the Ceasar salad which was honestly the best one I'd had in a while. Both the guys at the bar were very friendly and attentive. My food was out in like less than 5 minutes. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Tallulah Falls.
Bonus points for having compostable utensils and plates!

The Edge of Confusion

We were very excited to see them after reopening with the new menu. The first time we tried it it was a little busy, no one was helping customers and the staff looked confused so we left to try again later. A couple of days ago we tried again. It was not busy and we stood at the bar waiting for service and were completely ignored while staff were sitting right next to us, others were going in and out and just standing by the kitchen, and never once acknowledged by staff and left. This is very disappointing for a local place that we would have wanted to enjoy.

The atmosphere is very nice but the service is awful. We gave them 2 chances and will not be returning.

First and foremost, a huge shoutout to the incredible manager, Francisco! His warm, welcoming, and upbeat attitude set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I walked in, his enthusiasm and professionalism made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. I ordered the Club Sandwich with chips, and let me tell you—this wasn’t just any club sandwich. It was the club of my dreams. Stacked high with savory black forest ham, tender roasted turkey, crispy bacon, and provolone, every bite was a symphony of flavor. The fresh romaine and ripe tomato added a crisp contrast, while the toasted sourdough provided the ideal crunch. The herb aioli brought everything together with a deliciously zesty finish. It was hearty, satisfying, and kept me full for hours. This place truly delivers on quality—from the thoughtfully crafted food to the outstanding customer service. If you’re looking for a memorable meal in a welcoming fun atmosphere, look no further. I can’t wait to come back!

Bar tenders were great, 7 or 8 beers on tap and didnt try food. Outdoors at the base of the park, great place to have a drink after a hike.

Honestly, it could be a fun environment with the outdoor seating and play area; however, the menu is ever limited and food was not great for the price. No kids menu available. A bit pricey for what you get. Meat was dry on my sandwich. You have to walk up to order at the bar which is isn’t horrible, but just wasn’t what we expected in this setting. Wouldn’t really return.

The food was decent, and I liked the space, but the service was just inexcusable. Took over an hour to get basic items. And it was not full. Busy, but not full. This was July 6 at lunchtime
