You'll feel as though you're driving into the middle of nowhere once you turn off the interstate on I-16 at the Soperton, Ga exit on Hwy 29. Pass through Soperton onto Hwy 15 and you'll end up in Tarrytown, GA where you'll find Kc's Restaurant at The Windmill. We came down for the seafood buffet, and it did not disappoint. Saying that the buffet is good would be an insult. It's fantastic! They're supposed to have the seafood buffet once a month, so call the restaurant and find out when the dates are. You won't regret it. There was fried fish, fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, a fresh salad, fresh crab salad, crab cake bites, crab stew, chicken tenders for the kids (or anybody else), mac-and-cheese ( the off-the-chain version), French fries, hush-puppies, cup-cakes and chocolate chip cookies, and a few other things that I probably left out. Everything I tried was awesome. From what I hear, they have a Sunday brunch that can't be beat. I think they're open Thursday-Sunday, so get there and have a great meal.Parking: Big, grass parking lot. Easy to park.

I tried KC’s at the Windmill today for the first time. I was able to enjoy their Sunday buffet. Everything I had was delicious. The server that helped me was extremely attentive and had a very sweet demeanor. The restaurant itself has a great setting and an old nostalgic atmosphere. I will definitely be back soon.

The food is pretty good, nothing spectacular that's for sure. It took a very long time to get served and the seating is to close to other customers.

We went past a number of times, and they were closed, and this Sunday, we happened to find them open. We found that on Sunday it is a buffet of hometown local food. Chicken, Meatloaf, Chicken Pot Pie, Salad, Mac-and-Cheese, greens, beans, rutabaga deviled eggs, and desserts made the featured players this day. All were very good. We would like to attend the Friday's or Saturday's that they are open to check out off the menu options.

We were in town over the weekend for The Onion Festival and it was also our Anniversary. The meal was excellent as well as the staff. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

In Tarrytown for the weekend at a sweet Airbnb, seen the restaurant as we were coming in and wanted to try it. Started a reservation on Google but it took too long so I called the restaurant directly. Sweet lady answered and told us (party of 5) to come on in and we could be seated. So we did! THE best choice EVER!!! Ribeye steak is tender juicy and flavorful! Veggies and loaded mashed potatoes were awesome and VERY DELICIOUS!!! Hospitable and friendly staff, answers all questions. I loved the history within the house and that of the house itself! We are a 40min drive away but we WILL RETURN for that ribeye steak!!!Parking: Grass parking in frontWheelchair accessibility: A ramp leading to the front door and wide doorways for a wheelchair and handicap parking near the ramp
Update:Kc's Kitchen at the Windmill is the new name of this fabulous restaurant. Kc's Kitchen Cafe is still open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday thru Friday in downtown Soperton. She opened this beautiful location for Friday and Saturday evening dinner and Sunday lunch. The food is still delicious, the service is still top-notch, and the atmosphere is still homey and welcoming. We love eating here. The Windmill Restaurant is a country treasure nestled among the farmland of Montgomery County in Tarrytown, Georgia. The ambience of the old house after its beautiful makeover creates an expectation of excellence that is met in every way. The food is rich in taste and wholesome as your grandma's cooking. My wife ordered sea bass, and I had the Angus ribeye. Both were superb. (I know because I tasted the sea bass, too.) I'll definitely be back soon to enjoy their low country boil with snow crab legs.

First time visit was a Sunday - buffet. Standard Southern fare. 2 or 3 entrees, a handful of side dishes, a few dessert options. All tasted very good. Great customer service. About $70 for 3 adults, a 9 year old, and iced tea/soda/milk.
