I only gave 4 stars because when getting a takeout order, they charge you for takeout plates plus add a 10% gratuity to your order and charge 3%for paying with a card. I get it takeout plates cost money (but, that's part of having a business), I understand card companies charge a percentage for using a card (again, part of owning a business and accepting cards), but the 10% gratuity for a takeout order, that's quite ridiculous to me. I've worked in the food industry for over 30 years and I have NEVER heard of such a thing. Their food is great, their service is great. I hate that they put these things into place and not inform their customers beforehand. It just seems like trying to be slick and do something wrong to your customers, which are the very people that keep the place going. I hope these things will be given a second look and show their customers to give a gratuity on a takeout order if they want to.

The food itself was good. But the price of my order was not right. I got charged a non cash fee even though I payed cash. 😐
Also the tipped themselves $2.00 , I never gave them permission or authorization for a tip. That's wrong and unethical. Next time price your food accordingly to cover your business cost if not don't do business. Do better. Todo por unos centavos más 😂, increíble a que extremo llegan por el dinero.
Que vergüenza 😬.
Primera y última que uno va ahí.

I have been meaning to tell you about El Tapatio's —and about the unforgettable force of hospitality known as Humberto.

On our second pilgrimage from Villa Rica to this semi-local sanctuary of Mexican cuisine, fate seated us once again in Humberto’s section. And thank goodness it did. Humberto, a young man from South America, carries himself with a kind of luminous gratitude for this country—an energy so genuine it practically lights the room.

He swept to our table with the urgency of someone who actually cares, ensuring our drinks were flawless and launching into a heartfelt ode to the Diablo sauce. And let me tell you: that sauce, already a favorite of mine, tasted even better after hearing him speak of it like it was a legend passed down through generations.

Our dining experience that day? Unbeatable. In fact, I doubt the culinary gods themselves could craft a more perfect moment. El Tapatio's has earned two loyal devotees—and consider it carved in stone that we will forever be regulars of Humberto.

Humberto was our server. He delivered impeccable service, personable conversation and welcoming personality. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the Texas chimichanga. This is our 2nd time visiting this location and it's a favorite now.

Ask for Humberto!

The server, Kenny, was good. But the food was bland. I might try something else on the menu, but our whole family didn't think that anything we ordered was great. It was sustenance. We got full, but probably won't go again any time soon. Also the salsa just tasted like squished tomato. And the guac was just smashed avocado. 😐

We will go again and I'll give it another shot and order something different. But tonight's experience was less than mediocre. The only flavor I got was the shredded cheese on my taco. Everything else was horribly bland.
The service? They brought chips and salsa, brought our drinks. 10 minutes later, took our order, didn't take long to fix and serve, then nothing. We had to go up front for our ticket to pay. No refills, no check ins, nothing.
I hope our next time will be better.

Amazing food and service! AND reasonable prices. Right across from the Flying J so we drivers have a great place for a dinner break or during a reset even! Thanks Jorge! Had great service and always had a smile when he was talking to any customer I saw! (And hey……. Adorably cute too what can I say ha). Keep up the good work.

This is an awesome place. The food, atmosphere, and service is top notch. So if any truck drivers or pilot cars are in Temple, Georgia, El Tapatio's is the place to go if you enjoy great food and a relaxing atmosphere.
