We are from out of town and stopped here on a whim for lunch. Cozy, unique and charming. Our waitress was Kristen. If you're lucky enough to have her, you'll be greeted with the biggest, genuine smile and the best service found anywhere in the South! The entire staff was genuinely friendly, and the food!!! Large portions and delicious. I got the hamburger steak and the wife got chicken tenders. I should have taken pics but all of it was very, very good. This is one of those places that leaves an impression on you. We will definitely be back.

Horrible!!! No good food selection. Salad was chopped so fine had to use a spoon to eat it. The food was cold at the bar and to be honest is was a genuinely horrible eating experience. The staff were friendly though and had ready smiles and kept my drink filled. And that was about it.

kristen took care of our order from start to finished with a smile on her face and a bubbly personality. The food came out quickly and tasted good too.
Small quaint place with excellent food and service. Only ever been on Saturdays and have always gotten the special. They tweek it ever so often, great value and taste. Thus time it was two thick grilled pork chops, bbq beans, baked potato, texas toast slice, drink and desert for under $19.

Got my sandwhich to go. The I aide was very crowded trying to stand to get my Togo order with bus boy walking in circles around me and the cashier not acknowledging me. I get my order and the lady asks if I want to leave a tip. I've never had anyone ask me for a tip on a to go order before. I actually never heard anyone ask for a tip in general. Its on the receipt ill add it if I want to. Why did you ask for a tip? Does the owner not pay you guys enough so you have to awkwardly ask your to go customers for more money? You literally did nothing. I wanted to come back and try atleast 2 more items but dont want to have to deal with a begging cashier ask for money from me. It felt like a homeless person at a stop light in atlanta asking for money. A sandwhich was already 20 bucks and now you want more? For doing absolutely no additional service? Crazy. I wont be back just for that reason.

First time visiting. My husband and I couldn't decide what to get so we got the Sirloin for 2! A 32oz medium rare sirloin did NOT disappoint. Our waitress was wonderful, but I didn't get her name for a special call out. Great experience and will definitely be back if we come back to Thomaston!!

Was looking for a place to eat, and this was close by with pretty good ratings. Well deserved!
Sweet potato fries are a must! Best I have ever had!
I got the bacon cheeseburger, which was very good and fresh, as well as shared some onion rings, which, with the sweet barbecue sauce, were excellent!
My friend got the steak sandwich named after a guy and said it was great as well!
Cooking time was a bit slow, but otherwise waitress was super friendly, etc.! Definitely check it out

We had the best time here. The story behind this restaurant was so precious. It's worth stopping by for the story alone. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the hamburger steak and don't forget the fried green tomatoes. Will definitely go back!

There were so many delicious options that it was hard to choose at first, but thanks to the sweet and helpful ladies up front, we didn’t stay undecided for long. We started with the nachos, and let me just say…every single chip was covered. No empty bites here!
For our entrées, we went with the hamburger steak and the 16-ounce ribeye. We chose some non-traditional sides; slaw, fried cauliflower, fried pickles, and finished with a slice of homemade peanut butter cake. Every side was packed with flavor, and the portions were huge. Nothing felt skimpy. Every plate was generous.
The hamburger steak was hearty and flavorful, but that ribeye…wow. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection, so tender it practically melted in your mouth. And the peanut butter cake? Just like I imagined. The homemade icing tasted like something straight off my grandmama’s porch; pure comfort and nostalgia.
Even better? For the amount of food we got, the flavor, and the all-around experience, the price was incredibly reasonable. Nothing felt overpriced at all—just the opposite.
Service was outstanding from start to finish, and every staff member we encountered made the visit even better. Don’t sleep on this hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back.
