I use to love coming here but sometimes the customer service is not good. The waitress with the dark ponytail and glasses is always sweet though. My last two visits weren’t good. I ordered bacon soft and it was burnt and this morning I guess it was a kid breakfast combo cause my grits were skimpy you could see the bottom of the plate. Seems two spoons and spreaded out. I know the plate felt light but I was grabbing to go cause of work so I didn’t check it.
Went here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint! There are no reservations nor is there a hostess stand, so you just show up and wait for an open table. They do get very crowded on Saturdays, so be ready to wait a bit during breakfast rush hour. There is a covered front porch area with some rocking chairs to enjoy while you wait. I tried the country fried steak - two egg breakfast (comes with hash browns or grits & toast or biscuit). I also ordered a side of sausage...
