What a surprise to find such great Indian, Mediterranean and other selections along with good ole’ pool room eats in such a nice, friendly, comfortable spot in downtown Thomaston. I had butter chicken and it was the best. Large portions and couldn’t-be-nicer service. I’ll be back, soon I hope

Local gem alert in Thomaston! Back again at The Pool Room Cafe last night and they did not disappoint. This is our third visit and they are consistently excellent.
I had the chicken 65 wings. If you’ve never heard of it, I hadn’t either. Think crispy fried chicken tossed in a bold, spicy, garlicky sauce with peppers and onions. Absolutely addictive. I also had a lamb gyro with fries. The lamb was tender, well seasoned, and fresh, not greasy at all.
Greg had the chicken curry and it was gone before I could grab a picture. That says everything.
Owned by a wonderful Indian couple, always spotless, amazing service, and food that’s clearly made with care. As foodies, it takes a lot to impress us and this place does it every time.
If you’re near Thomaston, put this on your list.

The food is absolutely amazing! The owners were a very sweet couple, that were super friendly and knowledgeable. They had quite a few orders for pick up and delivery which made our order, take a little while to come out, which was not a problem at all. They were very apologetic, but also super accommodating. I played pool with my daughters while we waited, which was awesome. We ordered the butter chicken, the chicken and rice platter, and the tikka masala. And when I asked for a little more spice, they made it perfectly and added just the right amount of heat. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. Love that we have different options in Thomaston.

Their food is Authentic the chicken over rice is so good cooked to perfection, they make everything fresh so you'll have to wait BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH EVERY MIN.plus it's peaceful sitting there in the restaurant. I've eaten chicken over rice,Mango smoothie, chicken 65, and the chicken fried rice ( its not on the menu everything is so so so good. The cooks are very nice and kind people. The Manager loves what she does and wants everyone's food to taste good.

Was staying in Thomaston on a business trip and found this place online. If you’re visiting Thomaston I wouldn’t leave before trying the food here! Everything from the Chicken to Naan is outstanding and made fresh! The staff of super friendly and attentive as well! 10/10

Excellent food and service! We live just down the street and we are super excited to find such delicious food within walking distance. If you like Indian or Mediterranean food this is excellent. They do have more traditional American fare for the less food adventurous. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This was so goooooood,I got a scrambled cheese burger and it was very good.But the meat was a little weird,it was very chopped and fine but still good,but the fries were the star.They were so crispy!also the butter chicken gyros and nan and rice were good. But the service was amazing , they gave us a taste of the chicken 65,that’s unheard of for even small restaurants.I also love the Indian ,American ,and Mediterranean collab. One down side is that the water is 1 dollar,but it is a small business so I guess it kinda fine. Very good.God bless

Finally got to enjoy the Pool Room Cafe after hearing amazing things and it did not disappoint! I had Chicken 65 (mild) and it was out of this world, we also tried the Chicken Noodles and now have 2 favorites until we try the next thing...lol. The service was fantastic and portion size more than enough for two. You have got to give them a try for lunch or dinner!

It was very good. I ordered the falafel and hummus and a side salad. A few recommendations would be to have tahini sauce for the falafel (if you have stuff to make hummus, you can make tahini)and a homemade Greek dressing for salad. I was a little surprised that they didn’t have fountain drinks but they did have a good variety of canned and bottled drinks to offer.
