Really enjoyed the food. Southern fried and lots of it. A jug of tea on every table. Like eating at grandmas house. Get there early to beat the rush. It's very popular with the locals. Plus that view from the porch!
When we visit Thomaston we always make a point of eating at Riverbend Restaurant. I have never had a better ribeye anywhere than the ones I get at Riverbend. It is always tender and juicy. The service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is what you would expect in a family-owned restaurant.

When we come to our property in Georgia, we have to make sure it allows us to go eat dinner here. Gary, the owner, is a wonderful person, loves the Lord, and makes one mean ribeye. Not to mention, he made my wife's birthday by gifting her The Birdhouse that's been in that restaurant for 10 years that we know of. Thank you again, brother.

Very nice view of the river. The food is decent. Sometimes, I miss Country Kitchen and I want something reminiscent of it. Their food isn't on par with Countey Kitchen, but it does the trick. The cole slaw is great. I like the tartar sauce. I'm not a fan of the hush puppies or the fries. The fish is okay. The cashier was not the friendliest on our last visit. We had a take out order. The lady that brought the order to the front was friendly. It's worth the try at least once.

The new updates inside are great the food and services sucked. Prices do not reflect the quality of food. The seafood buffet didn’t have crab legs. The lady who took our money at the entrance was rude as all get out.

We were very pleased! The food was amazing and the service was out of this world, and we were with a party of 10. By far, one of the best restaurants we've been to! The value was unmatched!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
My food was over cooked making it tough. I had broiled shrimp. Had hard yime perling shrimp as it was overcooked. Fried green tomatoes were good. Hush puppies left a lot to be desired. I took one bite and really eanted to spit it out in a napkin. It was dry...dry dry. Glad i took small bite. They were very busy, had a wait to be seated. Our table was right in front of the mens restroom, i was the lucky one that got to watch men going in and out of restroom. Our server was good. I have to admit i was not very approachable this evening, so she did very well.

Nice little restaurant. The food menu is a little limited and they don't serve any alcoholic drinks. Their ribeye steak was my favorite thing that we ordered and is a huge 22 oz steak. The view at sunset over the river is amazing and can be seen from 2 tables inside. We really wished they had outdoor seating as it's a beautiful view where you can hear the river.
Great place to enjoy eating on the patio with your dog. Catfish basket with hush puppies is delicious!

The food was terrible😢. My feelings were so hurt because I drug two members of my family there by bragging about how great the catfish was. My catfish were fingerlings that had been cooked so long they were burnt clear through🫣. We have been going there for several years and someone told me they had declined but I wouldn't... Couldn't believe it. Well, now I believe it. My heart is broken but we will NEVER go back. 😭

Said open on the website drove 18 miles from the hotel. Our mom was in the hospital for 2 weeks near here. We relied on their website 2 different times, wasting our entire evening, gas, patience. I mean if your website says you're going to be open and you're open and operating, then maybe that's what should be happening.
