Arriving in Thomosville, we were hungry for lunch. We parked and walked to a coffee shop that happened to serve a healthy menu. We ordered the Rose City sandwich along with the Victorian Veggie. The Chickpea burger on the Victorian was very good. The Rose city was pure vegetables and was not quite as good. We enjoyed our lunch and were happy that the food was served quickly.

A well established coffee shop …. Large enough space to have about 100 people to sit at not including the barstools drinkers. The speciality coffee was so delicious and their summer time cold drinks were divine! The chocolate croissant, rice krispy treat and their bag of Nanee’s Donut Holes filled our tummy’s. Definitely a place to gather and socialize with friends and family!

This is such a quaint little coffee shop, very inviting. Their coffee selection is amazing, along with specials and unique flavors like lavender. Unfortunately, we didn't make it in time to enjoy the food menu. So we will definitely be making a trip back to do just that.
Wish we lived closer so we could enjoy it even more. Relaxing place to treat yourself.

I had coffee that tasted terrible. I asked if they could make me something else and cashier said sure. Told him what I wanted to replace it and then he proceeded to charge me for the replacement. Needless to say I didn't get a replacement and threw the original $8 cup of coffee away.

I tried calling you several times like you suggested and it always went to a full voicemail box.

I came here to meet up with my fiancés family for lunch. We wanted to have a casual lunch and try the local coffee.
Spacious and great customer service.
Everyone liked their food, large portions even for a sandwich wrap.
My Pesto panini was very good even when it wasn’t traditional thin panini bread my fiancé’s Turkey sandwich was good but nothing to write home about, the breakfast biscuit was hearty, and the wrap was filling.
Their latte was good.
Their citrus cinnamon roll was a crowd pleaser as a dessert.
The decaf coffee beans will be tried and reviewed soon!

Parking: Given it’s a Main street in front of other businesses there’s limited parking.

I was excited for an afternoon coffee but the one I got here was so hot I couldn’t drink it and when it finally cooled down (and we were on the road again), I realized the milk was scorched and the latte was un-drinkable. The atmosphere was lovely. The barista calling names could have been a bit louder.

The place was very inviting but when I received my order. I told the barista that I was charged for two cups when I only ordered one. She told me she could throw it aways instead of apologizing and giving me a refund.

Our first visit with grandson to the city, stopping for coffee and food, we ended up with so much excellent surprise in quality and price, I simply can not figure out how they could possibly make it !! We will definitely be back!

Vegetarian options: I also got a salad sandwich that’s so yummy!

Grassroots Coffee is the go-to coffee place so you can skip all the big corporate coffee places like Starbucks, 7-brew, etc. You can taste the difference between their product and what’s usually being served at other shops. They also have a wide variety of breakfast and coffee items so you can switch up your order as you please. The staff is very friendly at this location and will make sure you are taken care of. If you’re downtown and need coffee, GO!
