My husband and I found this "diamond in the rough"* a few years ago on our trek from FL to TN. This year, in reverse, I decided to retrace my route in my return to FL from TN. In so doing, I reserved dinner at this quaint restaurant. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, seated promptly, and found bread, oil w/seasonings, and water awaiting me. We celebrated our daughter's 16th birthday with her closest friends!! The waitresses and staff were exceptional with the girls!! We love Mom & Dads and always look forward to our time there!
Many of the entrees are very reliable. We specifically had the calamari and the salad capresse for appetizers. The eggplant was an outstanding, long time favorite as was the veal piccata. The house wines were good and reasonably priced. We have been patrons of Mom and Dad's for nearly 20 years and they are very reliable.
