Rock Bottom Seafood & Grill

Never thought I’d experience racism but my little family and I decided to go eat at Rock Bottom Seafood in Thomasville, GA. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with a few other black families.. I didn’t think anything of it. But as I sat there and just looked around I noticed all the black people were sitting in the back whilst the others were seated in the front and center. So immediately I’m mad 🤬 we had already ordered but didn’t receive our food yet so I told my husband I hope another black family comes in so that I can see if this is really happening. And by the grace of God another black family comes in and guess where they are seated … right in the back with the rest of us 🙃 Mind you before that black family came in there were others that came in and yessss they were sat in the front and center. So I asked one of the waitresses were they purposely doing that of course she denies it so my husband and I politely said cancel out order and we are out. I am just so pissed and disgusted. We will never be back.

A group of us took out patients there yesterday, our waitress seemed to be having a bad day. When one of my coworkers stated she wanted sweet potatoes fries in stead of regular one, the waitress rolled her eyes saying oh my God, I thought that was a little rude. Among other lil things as in rushing the orders granted we never been here before so it took just a few moments to see exactly what we wanted…. But the waitress on the other side help me as I assist my patient to the bathroom I thank her for that very sweet lady

Best seafood I've had around here! The grilled shrimp and salmon are succulent, and the fried pangasius was delicious! The staff was great & helpful too- I have nothing but great things to say about this place and definitely will be back!

The first time there my co worker was telling me how good it was so took me a year to go there so on my birthday I went it was good but after I got home I got sick and that was the only thing I eaten that day haven't gone back so far

Very friendly staff. The food was okay, but not hot. We came in an hour before closing and they began vacuuming and cleaning all around us. Won't be back

Parking: Spaces are small for Standard size truck. Pick carefully.
