My girlfriend and I were looking for a lunch spot after a memorial service we attended so walking down Broad we found you. Wonderful bartender and wait staff and the food was delicious! Next time we have more time we will be back!!
The customer service was great. Be sure to check out Erica the bartender. I have not had a great drink in a while. My family and I visited on Mother’s Day and we felt welcomed. 10/10 definitely recommend 💕
The best wings I ever had!! very very good. The fish and chips was a great choice. Perfection. The service was excellent. Jillian was awesome. Great vibe and great people.
This was my first time eating at The Tavern and I don’t think I’ll be going back. I got the cheeseburger slider appetizer and they were burnt to a crisp. They also had this weird taste to them, I literally took one bite and was done. Server never asked how the food was or why I still had 2 sliders on my plate when paying my check. Service was really slow and they acted like that didn’t really know what to do or run a restaurant. Overall, just a bad experience.
wonderful staff and wonderful selection! Kiyah was our server today and she was top notch!
This place started out really good. The fish was overcooked this time and way too much batter.

Waited 45 minutes for an estimated 20-30 minute wait, then waited inside another 20 and nobody even came to our table. Never got food or drinks.

Cold fries, lukewarm fish, waitresses really pushing up charges in already expensive mediocre food. Drinks were ok. Won’t be coming back.

Bri and Mya were very welcoming and accommodating for us! They made our experience here very memorable. I definitely recommend the buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer ;it was very delicious and filling. We also had the shrimp and grits, but we did not care for it much as the grits did not have much flavor.

Wife had a juicy cheeseburger & I had fish and chips. Both excellent. Only negative: They only serve full pint draft - no 1/2 pints
Parking: Expect to walk.

We went for the first time tonight and we were impressed! We were greeted immediately and sat in one of the most comfy restaurant booths I've ever been in. The decor is simple but nice. There were different college football games on each tv. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It truly seemed like everyone was family. We both ordered burgers and were impressed. They did not taste frozen and were actually seasoned well! 10/10 and look forward to going back. I need to try that sausage dog on a pretzel bun!
Parking: It's on Broad street, so you'll have to find parking along the street. Depending on what time you get there, parking closer to the restaurant may be full but the stroll to the restaurant is pleasant.
