I ordered scallops, half of them were the size of green peas, the other half were the size of a nickel...my baked potato was warm, it wouldn't even melt my butter...the steaks are good-should've gotten one...we had a good server...

My Best friend took me for my birthday dinner. We both had the hamburger steak with rice and gravy. Everything was wonderful. Food arrived quickly though we did go very early to avoid the crowds. Our server was very friendly and attentive even when tables started filling up. I've been eating there all my life and have never been disappointed.

Normally these people meet your expectations but the cook had a bad attitude,we literally watched him shake his head and throw his hands around because he ran out of baked potatoes and we decided we would take loaded fries and the cook sent out cold shredded cheese thrown on top of fries.We had 5 steaks ordered and decided we didn't want any food because the cook was mad that we rejected the bs he sent us.They definitely need to go back where they were and leg that cook go.

I had to pay for a meal I didn’t order. They only had one piece of deviled crab left so the server asked if I wanted to substitute anything for the other( apparently there should be 2 on the dinner). So I subbed a piece of flounder. Then I was told that it’s only supposed to come with 1. My question is, if it only comes with one, why did the server ask if I wanted to sub the second? I got ripped off and had to pay for the extra flounder that I didn’t even want! They suck! I’ve eaten there before with my family and have never been excited about their food, but this was it. NEVER AGAIN! If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Best Ribeyes Anywhere and if you love a rare steak... Consistently cooked to to perfection! Can't beat the prices for the quality of the food! They also make homemade Ranch dressing, which is not my normal choice, but it is the only dressing I get from Bob's because their homemade Ranch is just that good! Pay a little extra and get the loaded baked potato!
Excellent food! Nothing greasy. Bean salad with just the right amount of heat. Baked potatoes clearly not cooked in microwave. Very good hushpuppies. Nice environment. Pleasant drive to get there from Thomson. A+

A true Southern TREASURE!!! You walk into what is a Gas Station/ Store, past the minnows and Live Herring in the cooler, you step into a large room, concrete floor and about 20 tables. They open at 4 so be there in line and sign in at 3! A small team of waitresses, cooks - will throw out Hot FOOD -Steaks, Flounder Shrimp, Quail, Burgers, and sides. The food is made to order, and it is worth the wait!! The have won McDuffie County's Best Steak 8 yrs. and counting!! Get there early as the line grows fast ..

We were camping at the Raysville Campground and decided to go out to dinner instead of cooking at the campsite... Bob's Cafe was the perfect choice. We have always wanted to go here while camping, but there were so many cars there we always passed by. We got there at 4pm and was seated right away! The food and service was excellent!! We both had the seafood and all was cooked perfect and fresh.No more drive by for us.. This will be our go to place for dinner while camping nearby.
