The restaurant used to be better. It has definitely downgraded not only in food but in service. I tried to be understanding when the server stated she needed to go check on one of her other tables. Another server brought out our charcuterie board with no plates and the quality is something you can purchase at the grocery store. Our actual server never brought us our drinks and I finished the water that was provided when we sat down so did my husband. We turned the glasses upside down and the server walked by our table several times without speaking. The server also took small plates to one of her other tables that also had a charcuterie board. It was 25 mins that we were in the restaurant with almost no service. With the changes I would say this restaurant doesn't need reservations it equates to an over priced Applebee's. We will not be returning!

We went there on Valentine's Day. The food was good, and the staff was great, but the time it took for us to get our food was the worst! We still had a nice time though.

Oh my that BREAD!!!! So good. We were staying at the Mistletoe State Park, we were hungry after fishing & found this place! We felt like we should have dressed up !! lol The waitress made us feel comfortable in our fishing clothes. I posted pics of our food! All very good. Had to ask “what kind of bread is this”!!! So good!! The cocktail was a little sweet to me but I drank it all! Will b going back in May for sure!

No chef, or if there is one, not trained in culinary. Overpriced for food that at its best was likened to chain steak house food. Steak was not medium rare it was well done.
Star for cleanliness.
Not impressed.

Parking: There is tons of parking.
Two parking lots and space across the parking lot for bigger trucks and trucks with trailers.

Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids meal for the younger ones.

Bordeaux is a beautiful restaurant! Open, bright but intimate. On a Tuesday evening at 7pm we shared main dining area with two other tables of guests, we were told they are busy on the weekend but it was nice feeling like we had the place to ourselves.
We were a party of 4, ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. 1 order of shrimp and grits, 1 order of surf & turf and subbed the filet with a ribeye, 1 ribeye and 1 filet.
Drinks and appetizers were great. The shrimp and grits were superb. The steaks were the problem children on this outing.
The ribeyes were cut so thin, maybe 1/4 inch thick, that they reminded me of Waffle House breakfast steaks. The filet was nice but none were properly seasoned and all three were so heavily charred that it was the overpowering flavor.
I suggest if you need to “market price” the steaks then do that and increase the quality. If it’s sourced locally, find a better source or demand a better product.
Elizabeth was a great waitress and we will go back. Hopefully next time will give me a great reason to update my review to a 5 star.
