The meal i got tonight was the worst meal I have ever gotten from here.. Catfish filet (2 pieces) w/ mashed potatoes &gravy, Club sandwhich w/ ff, Chicken tender dinner w/ ff, slaw, 2 sweet teas... catfish were so hard and Dry, Club the BACON WAS AS HARD AS FRIED FATBACK, Tomato was hard as in the middle was green. Chicken tenders were just as hard..

We were traveling to Tennessee from Statesboro and decided to take a scenic route. We stumbled up on Kent’s and boy were we pleasantly surprised! Everything we ordered was delicious! Everyone working was so sweet and patient with us! If we are ever back that way we will definitely stop by again!!! 20 out of 10!!!!

Where to start: They need to change their fry oil- everything tasted, tough,dried out and chewy. Pretty sure most of it is frozen from a bag and not home made. Same with the bread and burger buns; store bought low quality, Even if you have to buy your breads, pick a better quality, What they serve is processed; reminds me of hospital or school lunch sandwiches. And the fact that it’s all served on styrofoam and plastic utensils means Never Again.

Very nice local diner with a strong selection of comfort food from many areas. I tried the 2 piece catfish dinner with fried okra and onion rings. Did not disappoint! The rest of the family all made different choices and were all plesently pleased.

Kent's has been around a very long time. Lot of food to choose from. Its best to order before you go as a lot of people love to go to Kent's at lunch and eat. People are friendly and always willing to help. Ice cream is always very tasty!

My first time here since the late 80s. Husband’s first time ever. Food is delicious, hot, and timely. Massive portions for the price. The only reason I can’t give five stars on atmosphere is because it’s not very wheelchair friendly to get in. There are two doors close together and the thresholds for each are too high for the chair to roll over. Had to have someone turn my chair around while another person held the door. Then they had to pull me over the threshold while I pushed with my good foot. Definitely would not have been able to get in here on my own. And someone elderly would have had to have someone to help too.

Was a really delicious burger, worth at least 4 stars, Banana pudding was also good. Service was friendly. First time visit. Decided it’ll be worth it to go back and try something else from their extensive menu.

It has that classic hometown feel—friendly, welcoming, and full of character. You can really sense the tradition and history, like stepping back into a simpler time. A must-visit if you're in the area!

I got the pub burger combo. While the Pub burger was “ok” the fries were not cooked well at all. And the coke from the machine tasted as if it had not been cleaned since the 90’s.
Speaking of cleanliness—the entire place was lacking that. 😔. I made a trip across town from all the fast food places to give the small business a go. Sorry but that’s my last visit. Definitely changed through the years
