What a cute restaurant in Thomson! Did not expect such a nice place and was blown away! They are very busy here, and for good reason. They could hire a couple more people during their busy times. But the restaurant itself is so really clean and nicely decorated. The food is just amazing. We stopped for a late breakfast and were not disappointed. Shout out to Kayla, our server, who was great and really earns her pay! We would love to come back if we are ever in the area again. Thank you!

Emma's does a great job with their breakfast. Its a casual atmosphere with a modern feel. Its welcoming and open. The tables are not too close together and its not too loud to be able to hold a private conversation in a normal tone of voice. The service is good. We were met as soon as we came in the door, our waitress was quick to come to our table and our food came out just a few minutes after we ordered. We had an omelet and a bull pup breakfast. The bull pup is plenty of food, don't let it fool you. 2 eggs any style, hashbrowns or grits, sausage or bacon and pancakes or french toast. I had scrambled, hash browns, sausage and french toast. My wife got the grits and toast with her omelet. She gave me her grits. Getting grits just right is hard to do, and these grits were perfect both texture and taste. I normally do cheese in my grits, but I didn't have to in these. The only thing that took away a star is the hash browns. In order to have hash browns perfect, they need to hold together, be crispy and brown on the outside and soft but done on the inside. These were not brown on the outside, they were done, but a little wilty throughout. It didn't detract from the overall breakfast at all though, just not quite worthy of 5 stars. It was still an excellent meal for breakfast. I highly recommend this place for your morning meal.

The establishment was near empty when we arrived , with the exception of one larger table with approximately 10-12 people. We ordered a mimosa flight and food (2 omelettes and a shirt stack) rather quickly and then sat for over an hour while waiting on our food . During that time the employees began flipping and stacking chairs on all the tables except the two that had patrons (ours and the other party) . We opted to pay for our mimosas and leave without our food after waiting so long and experiencing the unprofessionalism of stacking chairs while patrons are still in the restaurant. It is basic restaurant operating knowledge that you never want to start flipping and stacking while People are eating or have not even gotten their meals , it makes patrons feel rushed and creates a less than desirable environment. The staff used the larger table as an excuse for the time we waited , however that one party of 10-12 people should not have caused over an t wait with an almost empty restaurant. Hire more cooks and/or work on timing better . Came excited to try something new, left hungry and disappointed.
