Terrible experience. I placed an online order ahead and arrived after the pickup time and the staff said that it'll be a 20 min wait because they don't make it until you show up.
That is ridiculous and I have never heard of a restaurant doing such. I was told the reasoning is "wasted food" if it's not picked up, even though it's prepaid for.
It seemed more like the employees didn't want to work and much preferred giving me a refund instead of actually making the food.
Not to mention the poor attitude and response by the employee (Juantavious).

Went to krystal last night because I haven't had krystal in a long time but couldn't get any service because they stated it would have been a 45 minute wait because they pilot light on the grill have went out really Krystal service has become very poor at night

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Krystal's on a busy Saturday. Despite it being peak hours, the restaurant was closed, the doors were locked, and there was no response at the drive-through headset. This lack of service forced us to go elsewhere, which was frustrating and inconvenient. It's unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant to be completely unresponsive during one of the busiest times of the week, with no signs stating they were closed, but with workers just sitting around inside the restaurant. We will not be back.

Ordered our food on the app. Arrived within 10 minutes. Got to the drive thru and was sent to the window. Sit at the window for over 25 to 30 minutes before getting our food. One employee stood outside talking to someone ahead of us that was obviously a friend the whole time. 2 other employees were in the back. 1 came out and talked to someone for a while and went back to the back. Finally another lady came out and held up 1 finger and finally came out with our food. After waiting so long you would think they were making the food. Nope. It was cold.

Terrible experience. The employee taking orders said he would be right back and walked to the back. After 10 minutes of watching the other employees walk by and not take our orders, we left and went somewhere else. Really disappointing since I don't have a Krystal near me and was looking forward to this. Y'all need to do better.
The chili dog was good and small. The fries were bland with not much taste but the tator tots were good. It took a while to get our food. The bottom bun of the sliders were soggy. The shake machine was not working. I liked the little containers for the sliders.
Kid-friendliness: If your kids don't like condiments make sure you ask for the sliders without condiments. The 4 sliders had mustard and pickles. The bacon sliders had onions, mustard or ketchup, and pickles.

The quality of Krystal has declined since the Atlanta company purchased it and moved the headquarters from Chattanooga to Atlanta. This restaurant was ok but not great.
